"We stayed at the Karoo Art Hotel for one night on our way to Cape Town. It is a wonderfully restored hotel in keeping with its character. The bed was very comfortable and our room spacious. "This is a great hotel. Beautiful design and thoughtfully decorated with loads of amenities. Loved the spacious room with the balcony, great views of distant mountains. The breakfast was wonderful and we much enjoyed the dinner as well. This is a truly professional operation with helpful and kind staff that really tried to ensure we had the best stay possible. Unfortunately there was an issue with the water main which wasn't fixed until 8pm or so, and the water pressure was so low we couldn't shower in the evening, rather had to wait until the next morning. When it worked it was great, though..."
