Everything was fine. One suggestion: it would be helpful if the bed was facing the television and not the window. Beautiful outside view but hard to watch tv from the bed. Otherwise great!

The staff was welcoming and friendly upon check-in. We were immediately offered an upgrade and late checkout as a Gold Elite members. The room was clean, with a good size bathroom, a coffee machine, and complementary bottles of water. The best part was the staff finding the AirPod I had left behind, keeping it at the front desk and I was able to pick it up one week later when I returned. This was extremely helpful and appreciated. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant (Proof Kitchen - nothing special food wise, but friendly waitress) in the hotel, but definitely book ahead if it’s a busy night like New Year’s.
Proof Kitchen run separately from hotel. Pasta was overdone & more lamb would have been appreciated.

Hamburger was fine… no mayo was available for my friend’s fries.

The beds are really comfortable and the rooms are nice and big. The pool area was clean and the hot tub and sauna are nice to have. Bathrooms was clean and had an automatic floor light which was very useful for bathroom trips at night.

The hot tube was a bacteria filled mess. With germ bubbles all over accompanied by a foil odour. I got muscle tightness issues the hot tube was the major factor in choosing this hotel which was a filthy mess. It’s irresponsible for the hotel to not have maintenance staff available on weekends to clean the hot tube. I tried to contact the GM of the hotel she ignored my request to contact me. She should be embarrassed and have to explain what occurred to her superiors.

The breakfast restaurant is not always open and in winter conditions there is nothing near by. The breakfast is also over priced they tend to take advantage of their guest.

I would rate this hotel **three stars at best**. The room was in **very poor condition** and clearly outdated. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed, which immediately gave a bad impression. The **only positive experience** was dinner at the restaurant *Proof*, which was genuinely good. The **hot tub** has a button to turn the jets on, but there is **no signage explaining the delay** before they start. You end up standing there repeatedly pressing the button, thinking it’s broken. We ordered **breakfast through room service**, but it never arrived. Staff said they thought the order was for room **507 instead of 501**, even though the room number was **written by hotel staff themselves** on the order card in the room. When we called the front desk, the **female staff member was very rude** and acted as though it was our fault. The only compensation offered was **free parking**, which frankly shouldn’t be charged in the first place and should be included in the room rate. Overall, the **room was far too expensive for what was offered** and absolutely **not worth the price**. I would not stay here again.
