Our room was not clean. Hair all over the bathroom floor and behind the door. They had not cleaned under the desk area or the nightstand area in who knows when. We woke up day two with baby cockroaches all over our bathtub and immediately checked out!!

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, dies ist vor allem im Badezimmer zu sehen. Bei unserem Aufenthalt hatte der Fernseher leider keinen Empfang, nach einem Gespräch an der Rezeption wurden wir vertröstet, es würde jemand in 10-15 Minuten kommen und sich dem Problem annehmen - es ist niemand zur Behebung des Problems gekommen. Leider hatten wir in unserem Zimmer kein WLAN Signal und auch dieser Hinweis wurde nicht als wichtig erachtet.ä

Find another motel! Started at check-in. Reserved the "deluxe king room"; front desk told me there were no king rooms available. She kept looking at a piece of paper in back of the desk & said she finally "found" a king. I filled out the check-in form; gave drivers license & credit card. Got checked into room #209. Room looked ok but around 7:00pm noticed there was no cable box, so no TV. Back to front desk. Different clerk said we hadn't "checked in" yet & wanted our credit card again. Nope. She contacted "manager" & said she would be there in about 20 minutes to resolve check-in and TV issues. We went back to room & never heard from them again. There also was no hair dryer. No hot water that evening, but there was the following morning. Noisy! Air conditioner & fan were too noisy to leave on @ night. Train goes by regularly. There were fights outside (realize motel has no control over this). This was our third & last stay at this motel. First time there was mold in the tub & on shower curtain but decided to give them another try since the motel is so cute, but this was a deal-breaker. Figured since we weren't "checked-in" the stay would be comped but we were charged for this stay.

The property has an eclectic visual approach based on the history of Route 66 with caricatures of famous personalities from bygone eras. It has a great complimentary breakfast. Great value. I am pleased.

The bathroom was gross and while I’m ok with it being completely out dated, it didn’t look clean at all. The beds were uncomfortable and also needed updating. We traveled with our children and the apartments right next door were run down and completely unsafe. You could literally see drug use in plain sight. People sleeping in their cars and unkept areas all around the hotel. Did not feel safe and were thankful we were only there for 1 night.

Free breakfast was terrible, most items in the buffet were empty at 7:00am, had to find someone to refill the pans, the scrambled eggs they brought out were dried, hard and GREEN. We stopped at a local restaurant for breakfast. Had to take a cold shower, as the water heater was not working. We were not informed about this when we checked in, or I would have gone somewhere else. The cable TV was a bit strange, Fox News, Newsmax and Fox Business channels were mutted, we could not get any sound on those three channels, all the other channels including all the liberal news channels worked just fine, appears like someone is trying to censor what news channels the guest can watch. Will not return on my next trip to Kingman.

We were very pleased to get the Route 66 photos of the murals. I'm glad we stayed there for the pics. The staff were very nice. Room was dated and felt cramped. Breakfast buffet was not kept filled and food was cool by time eaten. Didn't have up to date toaster, which didn't work well. It was an ok place to stay, but room amenities were less than we are accustomed to. We canceled our reservation there on return home and stayed at another hotel. If you're doing a R66 trip, though, get pics of their murals. Those were worth my stay ... once.

Really grumpy receptionist. Rooms were fine. Washing machine didn't work and we were told maintenance would look into it and they would call our room to let us know, the following morning we were still waiting. Restaurant meal ok but complimentary breakfast was virtually non existent.
