Avoid the rooms near the fire escape!

Room was next to an emergency fire escape which was anything but that, really noisy and in constant use, didn’t sleep very well all week.

Very pleasant and great service

Great gym, great service. Good breakfast and big room. A little dated but still nice. Only issue was the water pressure. All in though a solid hotel and perfect for a short business stay.

Overall hotel very good but disappointing

The stay was very good we had a late night Saturday so we paid £15 extra for late check out. Our check out time was at 13.00 instead of 11.00 am. At 11.00 am we had cleaners come knocking and came into the room and woke us up even though we paid for late check out which we didnt expect at all. We paid extra so we didn’t have to leave at 11am or wake up at 11am very disappointing

It has great facilities and value for money but just some basics like ensuring shower gel and shampoo to be kept filled up. We had breakfast at 10am and they already ran out of hash brown.

Give it a miss if you can.

As a brand they get worse. No way to order room service although apparenlty available, no way to turn the heat up on the shower,constant running toilet and also the food is poorer with the new menu. I could go on!

Disappointed. Details and care.

I had booked 1 night, but ended up staying for 3 as work plans changed. I often stay here as it's consistent and has a great bed and i like the gym and pool, but a few things do bother me when i stay...service is ok, but know one really seems happy to be there, sometimes it's like an inconvenience to have to attend and awareness of customers lacks a lot. A welcoming smile wouldn't hurt sometimes. For my 2nd day the bed was made, but tea/milk etc weren't checked or changed and the 3rd day...bed was not made and still not refresh of the tea tray so no tea for me 2 days running despite being asked at reception when I mentioned that i had extended my stay..and still either the message didnt get through or someone just didn't care. Shower throughout my day also had poor pressure which isn't usually the case so it was not the greatest experience on this occasion. I find the food pretty poor and never enough options. One night i had room service and food was cold..drink forgotten, plus quite expensive for the whole experience really and charge a tray charge on top. I shall rethink if I stay here in future.
