If you are deciding where to spend the night in the Kalamos area, you will find a wide range of ideal possibilities. No less than 20 apartments and hotels can be found inside a 6-mile (10-kilometer) radius of Kalamos's city center.
When you would prefer to base yourself not far from downtown Kalamos, consider the centrally-located Aktaion Hotel.
The Skiathos Princess Hotel is about 14 miles (23 kilometers) from the city center of Kalamos. If you would prefer another option, the 12 Months Luxury Resort can be found 12 miles (19 kilometers) away. Another option is to make a reservation at the Atrium or the Skiathos Palace Hotel.
If time is on your side, why not visit the many attractions located in Greek Mainland while you're here? Spend time at Greek Mainland's castles. Those who love nature should also make the time to admire the region's beaches and coastal plains. Daring visitors may throw themselves into snowboarding and skiing in the area.
Looking for more to do? You could spend some time visiting Volos Port and Volos Municipal Theatre, which can be found in Volos, 16 miles (26 kilometers) northwest of Kalamos. Skiathos Island National Airport is a practical airport for arriving by air to Kalamos. It is 17 miles (27 kilometers) from the center of the city. If you hope to find accommodation nearby, book the Kassandra Bay Resort or Aegean Suites Hotel.

"Our stay at Noera was incredible from start to finish. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Skiathos, with restaurants, cafés, gelato shops, bars, and the port all within walking distance. Even so, the hotel feels peaceful and private. What truly made our stay special was the staff. Peggy was amazing and gave us the best recommendations, making us fall even more in love with Skiathos. Raphael greeted us every morning with a smile, remembered us throughout our stay, and even makes a great Aperol Spritz! Anne Marie and Aggelos were also wonderful, always friendly and quick to help with anything we needed. We requested for extra blanket and adapter we received within short amount time.
