Sleep Inn & Suites Kalamazoo Southwest
"Unfortunately there seemed to be a water issue and poor staffing in this hotel. There was mold in the bathroom, as well as some poorly patched areas and caulking on the bathroom wall which looked like there was some attempt and fixing water damage. Spiders/insects on the ceiling of the sleeping area. ..."

"We stayed one night with two young kids and it was great. Very quiet and clean. Friendly staff. Nice, clean pool area. The only downside was in the evening we couldn’t get a parking spot out front and had to park in the garage. The walk from the garage to the room was relatively long. Especially ..."

"They cancelled our reservation leaving us stranded. A woman gave us her room. They tried to rebook the room knowing it was dirty. Almost had to get police involved. Nightmare experience."

"The room smelled of smoking. The AC unit was loud and smelled like mildew. No bed bugs. Tolerable for one night. Cheap rent."

"Clean, safe, modestly priced if you land a deal. Lotsa stuff doesn't work, WiFi hard to connect to. No frills, no made bed to come back to. Manager gets 5 stars, because she bends over backwards trying to hold together all the things that do not get 5 stars"

Sleep Inn & Suites Kalamazoo Southwest
"Most of the property was nice. It was mostly clean and well maintained. However, we had one fairly large complaint. We almost always have an accessible room. I have issues with stiffness and cramping in my lower extremities. Anyway, the shower was a roll-in shower, perfect. No stepping up. However, also, no way to keep the water in the shower stall. By the time I was finished with my shower, my husband had to put down almost everything there was in the bathroom to get me out of the shower without slipping and falling. My suggestion (I am in the hospitality industry), absolutely provide at least two and a half times the towels to help prevent this. If it had been my mom, she would have definitely fallen. They do make a barrier that wheelchairs can drive over, too, that will help contain the water. The floor was literally like a slip-n-slide. I’d hate to see anyone get hurt simply because you’re trying to save a few cents in laundry. Please think about this. Everything else was decent. A nice area to stay in. Nice staff."

Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center
"By far the best hotel I’ve stayed at my entire life. Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and helped with the fire connection. Food is very convenient. A great day would recommend it."
