The location is the best thing about this unit. It is very dated. The first thing you notice upon entering is the buckled wood flooring. The second is the very large portable air conditioning unit in the living room. I would not use the words serene and refuge to describe the property. The flooring has issues throughout. Be careful in the loft if you are barefoot as the warped flooring can pinch. The bathroom is functional. There are two portable air conditioning units that are very loud. There is also a window unit in the bedroom. Because of the description in Expedia I was under the impression there was central air. The units worked hard but weren't great. The ceiling fan was a blessing to keep the upstairs cool. It also lists the unit as sleeping 6. It does if two of you are very small. The fold out sofa is limited to 90 pounds. It says that in the description but it's buried. The management company was very communicative leading up to our stay. Many emails and text messages were sent with updates. The phone reps were great even helping us get in early without any trouble. For the price point I was expecting more. But it is North Shore and everything is pricey.
