"Everything was good. We are not city people so this was right up our alley. David and Wendy were responsive and helpful. The ONLY downside would be if you cannot climb a flight of stairs or cannot handle the frogs (lots of them) “singing” all night. Neither of these things bothered us. We would without a doubt stay here again."

"From our first impression to check out, we were so impressed with the Aloha Green House. Easy to find and parking is great. It’s a level walk from your parking spot to the front door with one step up into the spacious apartment. Great for those with mobility issues. The apartment is one big room, open concept, combination living/dining/kitchen with two bedrooms and one bath directly off of this great room. There are labels everywhere to help you acclimatize. One of the typical frustrations with a new place is finding what drawers and cabinets have the things you need. Not here! The owner clearly thinks of their guests needs! Bottles of cold water in the mini fridge…a cooler for your daily adventures… sunscreen in the bathroom (and fresh aloe in the garden when you’ve over done the sun!) The one bathroom was a bit of shuffle with 5 people, but it is a glorious bathroom. So spacious and TWO shower heads & a a pebble tile floor…Heaven!The ceilings are so high that you don’t feel like you’re in a first floor apartment. Fantastic relaxing resort-like feel. LOVED the secluded feel of the back patio with solar lights at night. Two nights were not enough!This was our base camp for exploring Papakolea Beach (hike it- it’s worth the afternoon!), Punalu’u and Hawai’i Volcanoes. Also, don’t miss out of Paradise Meadows- we fell in love with Peaberry coffee & Kiawe Blossom honey here. "

"The cottage was very quiet and relaxing. The breeze was beautiful and comfortable at night. Be aware there is no TV or wifi, so be prepared to relax and enjoy the weather and read a good book. It was clean and the property was huge. It is close to black sand beach and not too far from the volcano. We would stay again!"

"This property was very clean and well-stocked with many items to make our stay very comfortable. The views are beautiful and we did enjoy a round of golf. It’s not in great shape, but the reviews are stunning! We really enjoyed the outdoor living part of this home. The pool was wonderful to have; however, the listing stated it was heated, but should be clarified to say “solar heated”. We would definitely come back to stay at this property again!"
