I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Days Inn Somerset. After driving 9½ hours to get there, I pulled into the parking lot only to find the hotel completely closed and the doors locked. There was no prior notice, no phone call, no email—nothing.
What makes this even more frustrating is that just one day before my arrival, I received check-in information confirming my stay. How do you send check-in details for a hotel that isn’t even open?
After such a long drive, this was incredibly stressful and exhausting. Guests deserve clear communication, especially if a property is closing. A simple notification could have saved me hours of frustration. Please do better.
