The AC in our room was broken. It was serviced at 2am and at around 3am we were informed by the manager that they had no open rooms and they couldn’t move us. They also couldn’t refund us if we just left. They offered free breakfast which we didn’t use because we wanted to sleep until checkout since we were kept up all night m and had to leave soon after. We were soaked with sweat and uncomfortable all night. Then, we were awoken at 9am to house-keeping barging into the room, unannounced, which was scary at first. I have no idea why it happened or why they would think the room was empty. After little to no sleep, being uncomfortable, and startled by the unexpected intruder, we just left. We won’t return and it’s absurd to not offer a refund after such a disaster.

Not Fox Tower

Hotel room was excellent!!! However, we had to wait a half hour on line to check in. Only two agents checking people in. Line was over 10 people waiting. From a gambling venue it was poor. Not many tables working and in morning none stall. Had to walk over to another casino-about 10-15 minutes away. Would go to Foxwoods again but never stay in the Fox Tower. Recommend staying at one of the other Towers . That’s where the action and energy is.

We did not feel very welcome once we left the reception desk. The employees were not very friendly. A bartender attempted to charge us for adding ice to a drink. Housekeeping did not want my dirty towels. There was always a look on the faces of the servers on the floor that made you think they did not want to serve. We went down the road to Mohegan Sun and had the opposite experience. This was our first visit. Disappointed.
