Hotel is very old ! Registered in historic landmarks! It was clean but old with need of repairs and grout in shower! Staff was great ! Location was very good ! Bartenders stellar with nice selection of bourbons! Nice stay but don’t compare it to a new hotel! It’s had character and that’s why it value priced

Throughly enjoyed our stay (just one night) very nostalgic, grea pictures on the walls telling the story of Jacksonville! Right on the beach, perfect for coffee & viewing!

Great location. Quaint historic hotel right on the water. Fantastic rooftop bar. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly.

I love how historic the hotel is - it really is beautiful. Don't be expecting anything too fancy, but it's so unique, very clean, and right on the water. I loved it. Also, the rooms (and I think all of the hotel?) have hardwood floors! Which I absolutely love because you know for certain it's very very clean. I am never a fan of carpets.

On the beach. Large rooms. HBO. Breakfast. But bathrooms are rusted, cracked and need serious attention. Very loud and heard people at all hours of the night, no sleep.

While the hotel is located beachside and is historic, I was given a room that was near the front desk and I was kept awake and then awakened early. The room door had gaps that allow sound. Based on my booking with Travelocity, this was the only room I could have even though I asked to be moved. A bit disappointing

such a disappointment!

I booked two nights at the Casa Marina over six months ago. It seemed lovely and I liked the idea of a beachfront hotel. When my husband and I got there, we were just so disappointed by the room that my husband wanted to leave. I talked him into staying because of the views and the fact that we would mostly be at the beach anyway. The pros to this place are its proximity to the beach and the room we stayed in did have a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was decent as well. Staff were pleasant enough but not overly friendly. cons: The room just felt dirty. The sink had a crack in it, the couch sank all the way in the middle and was so worn it should be in a landfill. there was dust everywhere. The air conditioner's condensing unit leaked into the closet soaking my husbands clothes that he had hung up. The water smelled funny. the worst of the worst was the penthouse club right above our room #(215-beware!) There was dancing and stomping on our ceiling and loud music up until 11 PM. Crazy!!! Bottom line, I really wish I had read others' reviews before booking. It's my own fault. Please heed the warnings here. It is a cool historic place, but is not up to having guests any more.
