It was indeed a very shocking experience and it seems that Expedia is fully responsible for the terrible experience faced by me in Istanbul. I was informed by the hotel property that Expedia has booked a room without AC. It was terribly hot in the room and that I tried contacting Expedia. Anyhow the property charged me another hefty amount to provide me with an AC room. Through this review I am also adding that I have sent my concerns to Expedia and am waiting for their reply. I would share the Expedia response as well.

An sich war ich zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind klein, reichen aber vollkommen aus wenn man nur zum schlafen dort ist. Die Aussicht der Zimmer schauen auf ein Innenhof welches nicht schön ausschaut. Mein Zimmer hat etwas unangenehm gerochen und die Lüftungen waren in der Nacht etwas laut. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft sehr sauber.

The hotel was amazing close to the tourists attractions and trams. Stuff very helpful and friendly the ony thing that bothered me was the housekeeping lady. Coming at 7am to clean the rooms very loud not considering that people may be sleeping.

Tenía reservada 3 habitaciones, al llegar al hotel el checkin había que realizarlo en el Yasmak Sultán del mismo grupo, nos ubicaron en las habitaciones de ese hotel categoría superior, trato excelente, breakfast muy bueno se sirve en el restaurante del hotel Olive ubicado en la 6 planta. Dispone de piscina, gimnasio, hamman y sauna (hay que reservar cita para utilizar estos servicios, los 2 últimos hay que pagar 10€, ofrecen masajes)

Great service and comfy stay for 1 night

The staff was really helpful and accomodating! They made sure I got to use the spa since it was my only and last day there. They made me a breakfast package because I had to leave early to catch my flight. The room itself was comfy enough for 1 night, a bit small but clean. The area is also lovely! Sultanahmet and Hague Sophia are nearby. I would recommend for a short stay. Price quality ratio is also really good!
