Honestly room was tiny, you could not walk past the window without closing it. rating 4 star no way more a 2 star, rooms where cleaned regularly which was good but bed was so uncomfortable base kept pulling away from the wall whilst sleeping as only there 4 night's and its convenient location we didnt day anything. We had a very badly maintained room, not cleaned.Luckily we always carry wipes since Covid and we had to wipe everything before using our room.Issues are extremely slow to be dealt with and sometimes never.Had to chase them.Been to Istanbul numerous times as well as other countries but never like this.It can’t be a 4 Star hotel, I would give it. -2 to be generous.

I was dissapointed, the photos are nothing like the actual hotel ,rooms are small and dirty we stayed for a week and bedding was not changed once , amenities were poor and breakfast choices were limited. Staff did not speak even basic english or even checked to see how we were. Hospitality was so poor. Beds are shown as double however are two single joined. When telling staff bed was broken staff did not try to fix this, was very uncomfortable as there was 2 single beds.

Hotel room was very poor and not very clean bedsheets had marks on them. Windows did not open correctly only one hinge was working the bathroom shower head did not have a mount. Overall not a great hotel would not go back there again photos are not accurate at all

You get room that you didn't book!!

AVOID IT AT ALL COST!! I booked a standard room and when I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist gave me an economy room and gave my brother a room underground! When I complained he told me either take it or leave. Wow, that's the worst service I've ever got. Luckily, I've contacted Hotels.com customer service the following day and got my booking cancelled. Other customers also complained about the hotel and stuff. I don't recommend it to anyone even for free. I will attach some pictures of the room. Rooms not clean and in bad conditions.Very bad service and stuff.

Did not like this place!!! Staff is rude and unfriendly. The place is very dirty and that’s me putting it nicely!!!! Will never stay here again!!! It’s not what they show in the pic, so beware of that. Paid to stay there for 15 days but left after the first night, didn’t leave earlier because it was nighttime in a strange place. They never gave us a refund or anything! But that’s ok!!! I just wanted out!!!!!

Poor quality

The only advantage of the hotel is the location, walking distance from the bazaar and other main attractions. Staff was also OK but beside that nothing justifies the 4star ranking. Rooms are very small (a big suitcase can barely fit around the bed) and they looked significantly worse than the pictures - very used furniture and kind of dirty. The biggest disappointment was caused by the facilities that were listed on the booking but which we couldn't benefit from - WiFi and jacuzzi on the terrace. The WiFi was extremely bad which they explained with a so called network in the entire neighbourhood, however, other hotels or restaurants had perfect service...The jacuzzi was working only partially and when we complained that the water is not warming up they told us that this jacuzzi is not running on hot water but just "a little hot"...40 minutes later, they temperature had only rise up to 22 degrees Celsius... Breakfast was also a disappointment: only a few choices, most of them cold, orange juice made from instant powder, the tomatoes looked like they had been cut into slices days ago and other similar extremely low quality products....Nonetheless, we had to clean one of the tables for ourselves one morning because the staff didn't bother to take care of that. All in all, this was very far from what we expected from a 4 star hotel and I would recommend it, except for the location aspect. Had better experiences is lower ranked hotels.

Bathrooms has mildew in the shower. The staff told us they will clean it, it didn’t happen. Missing phone in one of the rooms was never installed back despite several requests. Small fridges leaked water on the floor of both rooms and when reported it was not acknowledged. We had to walk few streets to get to their shuttle service to the airport, in the middle of midday heat. Room size is very small. Bath towels worn out, etc...I will never be back.

it was pethatic one, the hotel was not 4 stars at all. it was our worst experience over there even Air Conditioner of the room was not working. it was dirty hotel and staff was unethical and non couteous with no training at all. when we complained them they gave lame excuses.we had paid in advance otherwise we would shift first day. after three days stay with pethatic experience, yesterday we did shift to actual four star hotel after an hectic tours of different hotels.The American Company like you, just broke our trust . we expect to get refund our money, on behalf of this big fraud namely Devan-i-Ali hotel.
