A beach vacation paradise! This is a one bedroom, oceanfront "sea cabin" on the first floor. This sea cabin can sleep five people with a queen bed in the bedroom, futon in the living room, and a built in youth bunk bed (full disclosure: these are youth bunk beds and I would not recommend children over 10 years old in them).
Enjoy the private balcony with ocean views, gated community (non heated) pool, beach access, and fishing pier. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen with two bars and a full bathroom. There is a laundry facility in the middle of the complex. Located at the beautiful front beach on Isle of Palms with restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream stands all within walking distance. The Sea Cabins have the only private pier on the island and you are allowed to fish off the pier but will need a South Carolina fishing license.
There is free WI-FI and cable. The Sea Cabins are located just 20 minutes from historic Downtown Charleston, 30 minutes from CHS airport and 5 minutes from 2 world class golf courses in Wild Dunes!
No washer/dryer inside of unit, only in the middle of complex which takes coins or you can use an app on your phone.
There are a few steps to get up to the first floor.

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide a few travel soaps and shampoos, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, two laundry and dish pods, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave one towel, hand towel, and wash cloth per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels.

We manage multiple other sea cabins so ask about booking more than one!

Nice place and location
This is a nice up to date, clean, and well supplied (cookware etc) one bedroom unit in an ideal location with easy parking. Also, communication was very good. If I had to critique anything, I would say a more comfortable couch for TV viewing in the evening would be a plus. But, I our stay was wonderful.

Clean and very convenient to the beach!
I was visiting my Son and his girlfriend that go to COC. It was perfect for just me. They were able to visit me for the day and it was convenient for us to spend the day on the beach. I didnt spend a lot of time in the condo during the day. The only 3 things I would change is the futon/sofa is not comfortable to sit on in the living room. I could not get the tv to work in the bedroom and there was no full length mirror. The host is very responsive and the instructions were precise.

Empty Nesters on Spring Break
The condo was clean, and looked just as the listed had indicated. Prior to arrival we received lots of recommendations on anything we might possibly need from groceries, to beach supplies to surf lessons. He also responded promptly to our questions, although we received no specific check-out procedures indicating what we should do with dirty towels, and sheets, or where to bring the garbage. We did also find the couch to be rather uncomfortable, and were not fans of the rainfall showerhead. But that was just personal preference. However, a potential issue was that there was only one mirror in the entire place, and that was in the bathroom. It wasn't so much a problem for just the two of us, but would've caused delays in getting ready had we had our two daughters with us. Lastly, the TV instructions were for a different TV than was in the unit, although was not difficult to figure out. The TV did have cable, however most of the channels required an additional subscription, so were therefore unavailable, and there was no way to log in to our own streaming service accounts or to screen mirror from our own devices. We ultimately ended up purchasing a Roku from the local Best Buy so we'd have something to watch in the evenings since the weather was too cool to be outside.

Perfect for our Charleston needs!
This listing is just as described online, and everything about the reservation process -- from booking, to checking in/out, to communicating with the host, etc. -- was easy. We went in March, so not the best time of year for perfect beach weather, but it was great having access to the beach, pool, and pier. There are several close restaurants and a grocery store. The focus of our trip was to explore different parts of Charleston, and this listing was perfect for that -- everything we wanted to see was no more than a 30-minute drive away. Our daughter loved the "whale bed," which was a plus! We will definitely return if we travel to that area again!
