A good place for rest

Our whole family of grandchildren, parents and grandparents had a good time staying at your house. It was very quiet there, and that gave all of us an opportunity for a much-needed rest.

We really enjoyed our stay. The fenced yard was great for our fur babies! Bathrooms are very small but sufficient. Beds and couch were comfortable! We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The communication and responsiveness was great, walk to the beach was easy, location was close to good restaurants, and our kids and dogs loved the backyard. Some of our favorites: HomeTeam BBQ, The Obstinate Daughter, Patriot’s Point/U.S.S. Yorktown, Downtown Charleston, key lime pie from Simmons Seafood. Would definitely return!

the bedrooms were great for the family and the living areas too. the outdoor patio and shower were good. the only area that was lacking is that the bathrooms are tiny, not a big deal for us but could be for others.

This a great place to stay. As a couple it provided us plenty of room and the backyard was a big plus for our dog. A short walk to the beach and easy access to the supermarket/retail and Main Street areas. Nice restaurants on island. Plenty of room for two cars. Two bathrooms were nice but could be cramped for a tall or wide person.

IOP vacation

My family enjoyed staying at the Blue Oyster in IOP. The home was clean, provided everything we needed, and the location was perfect. The best part was the back porch and enclosed back yard for our dogs. We will definitely book again.

The location is amazing - 1 block from the beach & very easy parking. The yard is huge & very well maintained. Correspondence was fast & easy. The kitchen is well stocked compared to others I have stayed at. Would definitely come again.

Great Stay!

Nice condo and very close to beach. Place was nicely furnished and recently remodeled. Having a fenced in yard was great for our dog Teddy. Lots of things are walking distance from the condo including grocery stores and restaurants. We plan to stay here again!

Pros: Fantastic location Large fenced back yard for the dog Comfortable beds Clean No stairs (one step up to enter) Lots of living space Ceiling fans Short walk to beach Well-stocked kitchen Lots of communication Cons: Bedrooms and bathrooms are tiny (good use of space though) There’s another unit upstairs. No one was there during our stay, but I think it would be kind of weird. That unit shares the yard. No fault of the owners but there isn’t a crosswalk for the nearest beach access, and it’s slightly terrifying. The drivers don’t like to stop. Overall, we would definitely stay again. It’s very well-maintained!

Comfortable, short walk to the beach

Our multi generational family enjoyed our stay at the blue oyster! It was exactly as described in the listing. We found it very clean and comfortable upon arrival. The outside shower was so convenient when we returned from the beach (a super short walk to get there!). Owners were great at communication. We will definitely stay here again!

4th of July Family Vacation

My family of 4 stayed here over the 4th weekend! It was the perfect location. Walking distance to the beach and renting a golf cart to head over to the grocery store or restaurants works perfect. The hosts provided great communication throughout the trip. Location was clean and offered all of the amenities we needed. We will be back!

We came to Charleston to see our son who is stationed in goose creek for navy schooling. We had a fabulous weekend, back deck with shower was awesome after a beach day

Best Stay Yet!

We've been going to Isle of Palms for several years now, and each year we book a different stay, either because the previous year's location wasn't that great, or the property is no longer being offered. This year, we finally found our ideal yearly stay! As soon as the dates open up, I'm booking The Blue Oyster for my family next year. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, and the back porch, yard, and shower for post-beach cleanup of ourselves and our pets was more than perfect. We cant wait to stay there again next year, and hopefully the years that follow!

Isle of palms stay

Perfect vacation rental, lovely, large fenced in backyard, our pup loved it, quiet, friendly neighborhood. Very clean, great beds and furniture, love the couch especially. Host's were very accommodating, we booked extra days at the last min, didn't want to leave, beautiful beach minutes away. Very nice welcome gift also. Thank you, can't wait to return....

Cute, clean, & in a great location!

We had the best time staying at The Blue Oyster! We came for a long weekend with a group of 8 girls. When we arrived, everything was very clean, and the hosts had left the sweetest little welcome gift! The beds were all very comfortable- bunk room included! It's a super short walk to the beach, and the street that the unit is on is gorgeous. We felt very comfortable and very safe here. Everyone in our group talked about how cute the decor was, and the outdoor shower was such a nice bonus! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

well thought out property

They made smart use of every square inch of this property.. especially loved the outside shower area to get everyone cleaned off before coming in the house. The back yard was great for our service dog, and the laundry room was perfect for getting things stored until we needed them… only thing I would add would be some hooks in the laundry room to hang towels that are wet but not sandy from the outdoor shower so that you can throw them in the beach bag the next day !

The Blue Oyster - Isle of Palms

We had a wonderful stay with itrip in their Isle of Palms home, The Blue Oyster! Upon arrival, we were happy to find the home bright and inviting. It was a great space for us to relax, play card games at the large dining room table and set up some games in the large, fenced in backyard. Our favorite thing about this stay was the location. It was a convenient 5 minute walk to the beach and only a short 15-20 minute drive to the other hot spots like the Shem's Creek area and downtown Charleston. The private outdoor shower area was a bonus for us to be able to rinse off any sand we brought back with us from the beach before heading inside. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend others to book this home with itrip!
