We stayed here recently, and overall the location and atmosphere were great. The room was clean, the surroundings were beautiful, and we enjoyed the peaceful setting. However, on the very first day after check-in, the power went out, which was quite inconvenient. When I decided to cancel the rest of my stay, I was told that no refund would be given. This was disappointing, as I believe guests should be offered fair options in such situations.

Awesome place to stay if your looking for an out of the way quiet, cozy and luxurious place. Be even better when they finish paving the main road! Linda was a hoot and she needs a raise! Had a fire and cooked smores for excitement!! If your looking for a hotel with a pool close to things to do and restaurants, go somewhere else!!!

The property is well maintained and the owner sent clear communications on what to expect but I should have some more research. The property was too far from the main road and it takes about 20 minutes just to get to the main road. The check in process was easy and the property itself is very nice but it’s just too inconvenient for our taste.

The hotel room was cozy and pretty decent as was the building with plenty of shared space to relax after exploring the area. The breakfast options are ok but limited. There’s no TV in the room, and all appliances - kettle, coffee maker, microwave are in the kitchen. One thing that could be better is that the signage across various rooms was kind of overwhelming & ironically missing the most important sign of all - the one that shows you where to turn off / which building is the Hideaway Lodge. Currently the sign at the driveway entrance just says “Private” which is not what you’d normally see at a place that has guests on a regular basis.
