The hotel was very clean--SUPER clean! The staff was very friendly--each employee I came in contact with offered pleasant greetings and Abbi was very helpful. The breakfast buffet featured a good variety of hot and cold foods--definitely worth the additional cost. I had dinner at the bar one evening, the Boss Burger was tasty. The room was great, bed was comfortable. First time at this property, but I will definitely return. This will be my first choice for lodging the next time I visit downtown Huntington!

All was going well, friendly staff on check in. The day of our departure...one person didn't quite match the rest of our experience. My hands were full, and when asking for a bottle of water was told "those are only for the high up and elite guests...." Customer service is most important to me....hospitality is anticipating the needs of guests....this is hard to find at all levels, even the "elite" hotels!

We had reservations for a room with 2 queen beds for two nights for 3 adults. They messed up and gave us a room with 1 king bed. So my adult son had to sleep on the couch. They did provide us with breakfast for 2 of the 3 of us to compensate, but was still disappointed in the mix up. We had made the reservations a few months prior to our stay. That’s why I’m only giving 4 out of 5 stars.
