This is a beautiful area, it is a little noisy right now because of the upgrades. The gym was not in use, but did offer a yoga class. There is music some nights on the beach which is lovely. The restaurants are awesome. Especially Otto it is the best. The staff is great and accommodating. It is close to town and other beaches. But all In all a fabulous place to stay and unwind.

I enjoyed the friendly staff and how well they keeped up the property so clean!The restaurants on the property had such delicious food. If I could change something it would be to have more nights of live music on the beach instead of having it only on Thursdays evening plus extending the hours later like 12midnight .My wife and I enjoyed the music and dancing !!

The hotel is located in a very convenient location. Its pool is very close to beach. However, that beach is brave. If you don't swim properly, it is better not to enter to that beach. I had a disapointment with front desk staff, he gave me a room with "partial" sea view but this is not what I paid for in Expedia. Staff could change my room but they did not wanted even when rooms were empty. The hotel has plenty of food options. 7 private restaurants

I really liked the location, the pool area and the restaurants. However, the suite that we stayed in had issues with the palapa roof. It leaked during a rain storm and flooded the floor. The gym was poorly maintained with broken machines, lack of cleanliness and no working air conditioning. I also think that not allowing people to bring their own drinks to the pool or beach area was a little restrictive. It felt like you couldn’t use the facilities you paid for without paying for them again. It was also a little difficult to get ice, without machines, and it would have been nice to have a little refrigerator in the room. Especially with the weather being so hot and humid.

Parking is limited. Normally I wouldn’t care but this time we rented a car to go there but they was street parking outside as well which was safe since they the hotel security people also patrol that area.

Buen hotel con 3 inconvenientes

El hotel es bonito y pequeño. Las habitaciones están bien decoradas. La hospitalidad de los meseros encomiable. La cocina es bastante decente. Sin embargo, hay tres aspectos negativos: (1) tienen un estacionamiento miniatura (caben no más de 15 vehículos), (2) las cortinas no tienen Black Out, tan pronto sale el sol y lo tienes casi en tu cara, (3) aunque tiene playa, es imposible meterse al mar porque es peligroso. Al ser mar abierto las corrientes pueden tragarte fácilmente.

Not a bad stay, central and clean. Was very central, we walked to Santa Cruz and La Crucecita many times, sometimes twice in a day The pools were nice and staff very friendly. It didn't seem crazy crowded which was nice. The plunge pools on the upper floors are great nice and warm and lots of sun! On the lower floors not so much. Our server by the pool Diego was great, very attentive but never pushy. There were some vendors that came by while you were sitting at the pool or beach. They were never pushy or in your face, once you told them no, they just moved on. It didn't really bug me as they are just making a living and I had no problem with that. When you venture out of the hotel, make sure you check out Mama Elsa's (Amazing burgers and fresh cheesecake) and Viena (Schnitznel) both less than a 10 minute walk. Also check out La Crema (Delicious pizza) and Alfredo's (great pasta) both located in La Crucecita. If you need a scooter rental, check out Dario at Motorbike & Scooter Rental La Crucesita. He delivers and picks up too! PROS - Central to La Crucecita & Santa Cruz - Clean & comfortable rooms - Great much needed A/C - Local restaurants near by - Supermarket near by (although you are not allowed to bring ANY food back into your room) - Friendly staff - Room cleaners always offering us water and towels (we didn't want our rooms cleaned regularly so they made sure we were stocked up) - Nice

We stayed for 13 nights. It's a beautiful place. Clean, service was awesome, very patient. On the second day, they started construction beside our suite, building an addition. This continued until the day we left. Was not very happy as my partner was working in the room for part of the days. Was loud and annoying.

Everything was great other than the WiFi.. I couldn’t get working WiFi enough to do about an hours worth of email checks and some work stuff.. it was hard to stay on or get enough bandwidth.. other than that, the area was beautiful, the staff at all places were fantastic! Always treated with respect and gratitude. One other thing to note, parking is not enough on the property, but there is an overflow that we used and wasn’t too bad.. but worth noting for others to know.

I got the room with the private pool! It was great, really nice to come back to that and relax in the evenings. I highly recommend this resort. The staff were great! Really clean rooms and just all around a great experience.
