Great experience as a solo traveler.

Pros: I love the fact that everyone was always so attentive and respectful. The rooms don't smell like cigarette' smoke because they are smoke free area.
Cons: The only downside of the hotel is their WiFi service. It really needs an update. However, this is an issue all over the area.

As a woman solo traveler, I was a little concerned about going to Huatulco because of all the bad reviews I came across the media. I book the trip because I wanted to be away from the daily hustle in NYC. After I booked my reservation I was hesitant to cancel the trip a few times. I am glad I didn't. At the hotel, everyone is so nice, and attentive to your needs. The staff made me feel welcome and at ease.The rooms are clean and roomy. You have air conditioning and a TV. However, they don't offer a refrigerator or a safe. ( You could put your valuables in the safe at the reception desk) But I didn't need it because although I left valuables in my room, nothing got misplaced. Their pool is small but clean. They treat the water everyday at night. The restaurant food is decent nothing more to say about that.
