This resort isnt for everyone. It is small on a hill with alot of stairs. it is set up nicely if you are very mobile. The pool is great for children because its not very deep. The staff is friendly. The housekeeping staff is at a disadvantage because they are not provided with enough towels to leave sufficient towels for the guests, But mot their fault its the management. The food here is expensive and not too good, but you are near a lot of restaurants by taxi for reasonable rates. Both for the taxi and meal cost. If the management would do a better job the staff would serve more people and get more tips. Unfortunately many people eat and drink else where. If you are very fussy do not stay here.

The good- Camino Real King Club View- private pool right on beach is an experience you will not regret if you choose to stay here. Property is beautifully landscaped on the hill. Taxi into the main areas is only $120 pesos Bar fridge is nice to keep your own drinks from the local convenience store. Staff is kind and does try hard. I think many of the issues are management and out of their control. The not so good- Food and drinks are at least double if not triple of other options. Menu on TV is not updated and only buffet breakfast is an option on site at $35 per person for limited selection Housekeeping is inconsistent and they kept taking the towels. Why?!!!!! It drove us crazy to keep asking for towels when ours were hung up nicely drying. Timing was all over the place as well. In room coffee- two pods on day 1 of a 7 night stay seems odd. We bought our own as charge for more would have been outrageous. Room is dated and in need of repairs. Toilet seat kept coming off, shower faucet was leaking For a $250+ per night stay at a well known hotel chain- we expected more. The view alone is not enough to be able to let us give this place more than a mid review.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and booked three rooms, the quality of the stay does not reflect the price that was given. The bathroom tiles were broken, lack of hot water, a/c was noisy and not cooling properly, and after a couple of days the pool looked dirty. There is no filtration system in the pool. The price of the rooms should be adjusted to the quality of the hotel, it is not a four star hotel in my opinion. There is still more I could say, but this should suffice.

The views were beautiful at this resort with all rooms facing the ocean. The resort was very clean with very friendly staff and plenty of areas to relax poolside or on the beach. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing authentic mexican holiday this is a great resort to stay at.

El Hotel tiene una vista espectacular, la habitación que nos toco estaba amplia y limpia; si le hace falta actualizarse. El hotel cuenta con varias albercas que son amplías tipo oasis, se puede nadar muy bien. Cuenta con vista al mar!

The shared facilities are very beautiful, however the individual rooms are very disappointing. The toilets, sinks and curtains are all stained and need urgent remodeling. The food at the hotel is also very expensive and not worth it. The staff are great and the pool and dining areas are gorgeous, but given the condition of the rooms, would never stay here again.

Amazing room right on the beach with a private pool! Off season rate was very good. My only complaint was the stinginess with the coffee and water. They only gave us 2 capsules of coffee and when I asked for more the room service guy showed up with a bill asking 100 pesos(over $5) for each capsule!!!! Also charged over 100 pesos for each bottled water!! This is a great property but beware of the charges!!!
