The front desk person in the morning was rude and condescending. They messed up my reservation and then she wasn’t going to fix it although I had already paid for the room. I received A half-hearted apology from the manager. The room had a dirty bed cover and the carpet smelled. I will NEVER stay with them again.

The only bad thing I have to say is the room was missing TV remote so was rather boring. Staff could not locate it. But they did try. The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by great food and Walmart. Heads up if you use Travelocity the hotel cannot give you a receipt, they also could not give us a discount for the missing remote because we use Travelocity.

Newish hotel... poorly maintained

"Upgrade " for us was a trashed out room. Couch was stained and pictures had been pulled off the wall. This room Needed to be refurbished... NOT OFFERED as an "upgraded" room. We changed to another room... the couch in the new room was also stained... this hotel seems to be poorly managed and maintained.

Clean rooms, SCRATCHY SHEETS

I picked up my husband at the Houston airport late so decided to book a room online since we live quite a distance from Houston. We drove quite a ways based on very good LaQuinta past experuences.The hotel staff was friendly and room was quiet and clean. When we crawled into bed though we found that the sheets were so scratchy. In fact they woke me up several times during the night because they were so uncomfortable because of the scratchiness and stiffness. My husband and I manage vacation rentals and I am all about keeping customers comfortable but am by no means a sheet snob. These were by far the worst sheets I've ever felt. My advise, get rid of those horrible sheets!
