I love the view of the lake and the convenience of everything so close.. I also love the back porch grill restaurant it is amazing and has the best steak and twice baked potatoes.. The staff is extremely friendly at the resort and the back porch grill.. everything is just all around great there..

Good overnight stay for a couple

We had a good overnight stay. We stayed in the main building. Cons: This is an older hotel. We had a jacuzzi bathtub but the jets were nasty looking so I opted for a shower instead. In our particular room, no fridge or microwave and had to ask for toiletries. None in room. The beds were older and springy. No breakfast available but you do get coupons for a restaurant next door. Pros: the staff is very friendly, the view from our room was gorgeous. It was in a great location. The restaurant attached ‘the back porch’ was really good. The hotel had a heated pool although we didn’t have time to use it. The pillows were very comfortable and overall a clean room. We would definitely stay again!

The back porch grill food was great, however sitting inside the staff chose to raise the blinds and my table with drinks waiting for order was consumed in the dust on blind and sill. The bill was extremely high one steak dinner was 85.00 one other was 45.00 and limited shrimp pasta was 40.00 we had cokes to drink butter and sour cream was add on’s appetizer mozzarella sticks was $12. One stuffed mushroom was $14. I will never be able to go back because of the price gouging.
