Great place to stay. Restaurant was really good! Had 3 meals there, and all were delicious and carefully thought out and executed. My only issue was with the young host at the restaurant one evening, I think her name was Celi. Barely a greeting, barely any eye contact, curt, and short. No grace or sense of hospitality. This position is so important…it is the first experience your guest has with the restaurant, and it was a huge fail. After dinner, I asked her for a small ziplock bag for ice (for an unhappy knee). Without looking at me she said they didn’t have any plastic bags in the kitchen..!(I’ve worked in kitchens for 40 years, there’s a plastic bag in there somewhere!) Her co worker heard and said “really!?” I’m going to check. The co worker came back with one and even asked if I wanted ice. Now that’s how to do it. So, if you get someone who is welcoming & gracious at the front podium, you’ve got a winning place.

This is an excellent hotel for those who enjoy water views, with many rooms facing the river and having an outdoor seating area. Small minus for suite 001 not having shelves in the shower...when you pay premium, everything should be premium.

There was a bandaid floating in the hot tub and piles of trash and towels, the gym had multiple kids running around unattended. Our room when we first got in had dirty wine glasses in front of the door. Housekeeping came in our room at 8:00am while we were sleeping even with a do not disturb sign on and it being hours before checkout, when we called down later they had accidently checked us out earlier in the morning.

The location was fantastic. The check-in area and restaurant were great. Our room, at least, was fine--definitely not updated like some other parts of the resort. The bed was good. Small room for 2 people.

This hotel is a bit outdated but its architecture and landscape are still quite beautiful and comfortable to walk around the campus. The swimming pool, jaquzzies, sauna and gym are not big but clean and nice to enjoy. Conveniently restaurant and lounge are nicely located in the campus and the quality is great even though it's a bit pricey, so you can stay in and enjoy all the services.
