"Had been driving all day and was going through holland and quickly booked a night at this hotel. Upon getting to the hotel to check in, realized it somehow was booked for the next night accidently. Lady working the front desk was polite and said she needed to talk to her manager. Manager came out and was very rude and not willing to be of any help despite me being super upset and apologetic about the mistake. Told me I would have to call Expedia and to “hope” the hotel would give me a refund. I got back online to book a room for that night and it was significant more expensive. Expedia let me know that they reached out to the hotel to see if they would refund me (with a cancellation fee) and emailed me to let me know management declined. Mind you, I booked the hotel at 7:30 PM and tried to cancel/rebook around 8 PM and was told all cancellations had to take place BEFORE 7 PM which was before I had Even booked the room. I totally took accountability for the mistake in dates but the manager was arrogant and would not work with me at all. Will not be booking for any future vacations to Michigan."

"I had to switch rooms because as an allergy sufferer the mold on the wall by the baseboard was disgusting and a health hazard. I don’t know that anything was cleaned up and the room had a strange smell. The second room appeared better but the microwave was dirty inside it looked like someone burned something and it had never been cleaned. When I unplugged my cpap machine from the outlet between the two beds the baseboard and lower wall appeared to be covered in dust and dirt and possibly even mold. The carpet appeared dirty and I wouldn’t even walk in socks on it. I don’t expect my room to be operating room clean and sterile but this was probably the worst rooms I’ve stayed in and surprised that it was a Wyndham…."
