Lakefront Retreat - Dock, Game Room & Deck
"Nice house with a convenient location for access to Beaver Lake. The sunset view from the back deck is nice. The house layout was great for up to 5 couples. The house was clean and the necessary paper goods and cleaning supplies were available, along with towels and shower soaps. (It is a hike to walk down to the lake.)The house needed some maintenance, from small things to some larger tasks. For example, the mantle was hanging off the wall, an accent light was missing the bulb over the fireplace. A toilet paper holder was missing from the wall and had been replaced with a floor stand, but the holes were still in the wall and not painted where the holder had been. The lower deck was not a place you would want to lounge. The yard needed mowed - both the front and the back. The dishwasher control panel was falling apart. These are all pretty small things, but add up to a less than stellar experience."
