This Holiday Inn was top notch. I’m not sure if our room was upgraded, but with the fireplace in the center, it was easily one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, and while the parking was a bit tight, it didn’t take away from a great experience.

Hotel is well maintained, staff friendly and helpful, parking lot is behind and a secured area across the street , yes train tracks behind hotel but on one train that night 3 floor better than city noise, walking area and Marina across tracks on Lake Superior

The hotel was comfortable overall, and the breakfast was decent. As a Middle Eastern guest, I felt there were moments where my interactions with staff seemed noticeably different from those of local guests. Some exchanges came across as less courteous than expected. During checkout, I was initially overcharged. While the issue was resolved after I pointed it out, it would have been appreciated if staff had acknowledged the mistake with a brief apology. These aspects left me with mixed feelings about the stay.

Only a few minor inconveniences - the breakfast, which was good - starts at 7. Not ideal if you are hoping for an early start. The pool was great for the kids but it was so cold, the hot tub and sauna were great for warming up after that. Overall it was a nice clean place that is in a great location

The room was great. Bedscomfy and everything was clean. The mat in the elevator was filthy and it really leaves abad impression. Breakfast was the best i have had in a Holiday Inn and Suites. All the staff were very friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately i overheard two staff at front counter taking about Expedia guests which made me think 2nd party reservations are not as welcome as other guests.

Hotel is good for family stay and business

The room and breakfast are great, but the door is not well sealed, and I can hear people talking in the hallway. The parking space is a bit small to fit a larger vehicle.
