Great stay and awesome EV charging

I stayed here for one night and overall had a really good experience. The location is great, the staff was friendly, and I really appreciated that they offered on-site EV charging — that was a huge plus and one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. The only downside was that my room stayed pretty warm even with the fan on high, which made it a bit uncomfortable at night. Aside from that, everything else was solid, and I’d still recommend this hotel, especially for EV drivers looking for convenience and great service.

Good location, outdated hotel, very strange setting, the hotel is the exact same building of an old department store, the room layout was weird. The hotel’s vibe is eerie not the most relaxing place to stay that is for sure.

Great location, great service and very good valet. Spacious room with sofa, sitting chair and a large bathroom. Because of the concrete construction and all wood floors the room and common areas on the guest floors are kind of loud.

The hotel and staff were very nice, but they did not supply the room I booked. They blamed Expedia and Expedia blamed them. Interestingly, the room they gave us - and offered no options - was one that they do not even list on their website or on Expedia. Amusingly, after we got back from our tourist activities in the afternoon after the first night, they said, "It's too bad you weren't here; we had another room for you but it's gone now." They didn't call or attempt to contact us during the day. Did they mean if we had happened to be hanging around the lobby, all day, on our vacation?

My best friend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Haywood Park Hotel the first weekend in October. We were pleasantly surprised with everything from the moment we pulled up until the moment we checked out. The valet parking is surprisingly affordable and convenient. It was so nice to not have to worry about parking. Our room was spacious and beautiful. And, everything in downtown Asheville is walkable. We plan to go on this trip every year from here on out and will stay at the Haywood Park Hotel.

Great location in downtown Asheville, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Room was very spacious and comfortable. The conversion of a former department store into a hotel provided an interesting throwback atmosphere. Staff was very helpful restaurant recommendations and directions. Valet parking was super convenient, typically only waiting a couple of minutes to get our car.
