"One of the things I was happiest to see during this stay was that the hotel has officially started its remodeling project. It is always encouraging when a property invests in itself, and it gave me hope that future guests will enjoy an even better experience. You can already sense that change is on the horizon. I was especially excited when I checked in and learned I had been assigned a room on the river side of the hotel. I imagined waking up with a peaceful view of the water to start the day. Unfortunately, my particular room didn’t actually have a view of the river, so that was a bit of a letdown. It wasn’t a deal breaker, just one of those little moments where expectations and reality didn’t quite meet. The highlight of my stay was, without question, the bed. It was incredibly comfortable and made it easy to settle in after a long day. A good night’s sleep can make all the difference when you’re traveling, and this bed delivered. Overall, I’m looking forward to seeing what this hotel becomes once the renovations are complete. With comfortable accommodations already in place and improvements underway, I think this property has the potential to become an even more enjoyable place to stay."
