"Lovely hosts. The dinner is a must-try—it’s omakase, prepared by the hosts themselves, and it’s the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. The breakfast is also wonderful. After dinner, I strongly recommend walking to Itsukushima Shrine and the torii gate, which are just a few minutes away. Once all the tourists have left, you can enjoy the quiet island and the beautiful views all to yourself."

"Wonderful property. Listed as a hotel but definitely more a ryokan. Meal served in room…staff came in to set up bedding. Attentive and friendly staff, from greeters to front desk to housekeeping, restaurant and drivers. Arigato!"

"The rooms were spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the view on the small sun porch. But by far the most amazing aspect of our visit was the dining option. We signed up for the breakfast and dinner, and they were five star restaurant worthy. An incredible delightful assortment of delicious dishes at every meal. Don’t miss it! "
