Not as Expected

When we arrived at the property, we immediately noticed the overwhelming new paint smell, but couldn't do anything to help air it out. The property itself looked nothing like the photos. The deadbolt on the front door looked as if it had been kicked in and haphazardly repaired. Some windows were painted shut, others were unable to be locked. Both of those pose a safety concern, especially in that area. There were roach traps everywhere, exposed flooring covered by carpet strips, and the futon was covered in dog hair. The showerhead wasn't fully screwed in, so water sprayed everywhere when we turned on the shower. We were there for about an hour before we left.The Evolve team was responsive and quick to assist in requesting a refund from the property owner. Thankfully, they didn't fight it, and I got a full refund the next day.
