Felt Like Prison

Our stay was not at all what we expected. We knew it was a bed and breakfast in an old mansion but thought there would be more creature comforts and less security. Upon arrival there was one gate open but the sign read no trespassing. Went in anyway. Thankfully because it was the right place. The front door was locked but the housekeeper finally answered. Brought us to our room and eventually showed up with a $20 Walmart air mattress for my son. My son attempted to turn on a lamp and she freaked and told him not to touch ANYTHING because everything is an antique. We set up the air mattress while she moved everything within 10 feet of my son. We were then instructed that at 11 PM the security system would be set so I figured I couldn't leave the building. This was not the case. We couldn't leave our room because we would set off the motion detectors in the hallway. Wow. Were we in prison? There was no TV in the room. She said there was wifi but that it doesn't work in the rooms because of the thick walls. We would have to use it in the hallway but not after 11 when the security system was armed. There was no shower in the room. Just a bath tub. Description read room sleeps 4. I understood the room had one king bed and there would be a $50 charge for each additional person. Had my 10 yr old son with me. $50 for a third person??? To sleep on a cheap air mattress? Not only that but there was barely enough hot water for 2 people so I took an ice cold bath. Didn't pay the $50.
