Restaurant food quality was not very good but quite expensive. It was nice of the hotel to provide fruit and pastries for guests with flights leaving before breakfast hours.

Biggest issue was that the hotel was not anywhere near either the airport or any other amenities, so that when I arrived after 11 there was nowhere to get food except vending machines. It also wasn't at all clear how to GET to the Quality Inn-Airport from the Airport, so I wound up paying $21 for a cab. The staff have been friendly, check-out is at noon, and wifi is excellent -- the bed is perhaps the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. So my complaints are really all about location and logistics, which i know that this poor hotel cannot really change. Staff mostly make up for all they can by being super friendly. The breakfast is awful -- round egg disks and meat disks, toast, apples, cereal, and a waffle maker -- mostly a problem for folks who require a healthier diet with whole foods rather than a lot of varieties of white flour and sugar...

Disappointed

Unfortunately I had to cancel this booking and I did so by email sent to Travelocity. I was going to rebook with yourself for the night of August 22nd. However, despite cancelling in time the Quality Inn still took full payment. I have read through your booking terms and nowhere does it say that they, or you, should have done this. I still need a room in central Halifax for the 22nd but need a resolution on this happening first. Yours sincerely Patrick McDonald
