Front desk service was adequate on check in. Do not seem to take into consideration regarding seniors struggling with luggage and stairs. Room at first appeared adequate (circa 1970). After quickly using toilet in order to get to restaurant before kitchen closed. Of course the toilet tank lid needed to be removed and flushing mechanisms toyed with to get tank to fill up again for the next persons flush. The tank lid stayed off for the rest of the stay. Next, on to the ‘restaurant’ called ‘ Hidden Gem’. If it wasn’t for a young blonde girl on the floor doing the work of three, this would have been an epic disaster. The ‘bartender’, I’ll call ‘Spacey Stacey’, was operating on a plane of consciousness that was not up to the task. ‘Stacey’ was our server, sort of, after the initial interaction of drinks? And drop the menus down, we didn’t see her at our table for awhile. The young hard working girl did eventually take our order for , Spacey, after finishing our first drinks and waiting awhile, we took our empties up to the bar and were helped by the young girl professionally and promptly, Spacey cruise by once during our meal, said a few, mostly incoherent words and kept going. Towards the end of our eating she flew by again, mumbling some more words, a light bulb went on and she said “I’ll bring you some napkins”. I watcher walk to the bar, grab some napkins, turn around and drop them on the table in front of us …..

NO SPORTS CHANNELS!!!! Was very disappointed that there weren’t sports channels so we could watch Blue Jays playoff game!!!! There was the option to watch in restaurant/bar but we wanted to relax in room and not spend extra in restaurant. Rest of stay was great- convenient shuttle

We were in town for a wedding. stayed here to pick up ppl at Airport. Had supper with our daughter it was very good. They have an elevator and free parking and if you are flying y0ou can leave your car for up to 2 weeks free. Very nice hotel with free breakfast. no complaints

This hotel is very good value given it includes a free shuttle to and fro the airport. I would recommend staying here if flying into Halifax late, and renting a car the next morning. We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel seemed understaffed though everyone was kind - there was always a line at the front desk every time we walked past at all hours of the day. Had to wait a while for the hotel shuttle from the airport despite it being "on demand". Rooms are outdated but comfortable enough for a night or two; the bed was actually larger and cozier than many we encountered on our trip.
