Overall, a very nice place to stay. Rooms (especially bathrooms) were a little dated, but the staff was EXCELLENT. Every interaction with hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel's location connected with virtually everything in Halifax Harbour that one would want to see. Often have trouble sleeping in hotels, but this one was the quietest I've ever stayed in (and I think they were filled to capacity while we were there). Big recommend....

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Our room had a great view of the harbor. The view was so good that we were able to watch the Canada Day fireworks display from our window. Hotel location and pedways made getting around easy. Everything was connected. We'd stay there again.

Comfortable Stay

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
I stayed at the Delta Halifax for 2 weeks during a business trip. Overall, my stay was very good. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast buffet and a very diverse dinner menu. The one major complaint is that the hotel does not have wireless internet, so in order to go online, I had to plug in my laptop at the desk. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. Every time I passed a person on the staff they smiled and said hello! They seemed very happy to work there! The laundry service was extremely overpriced! I laundered 3 pair of pants and 1 shirt and it totaled $58! It was very nice that the hotel is connected to a mall with a food court and essential stores (Pharmacy, Dollar Store, Clothing etc.) Keep in mind that the mall closes at 6pm and is not open on Sunday. There are a lot of excellent restaurants within walking distance. I really enjoyed The Wooden Monkey. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Halifax.

Stay & Play

clean rooms but I had to call back after our stay because they put a additional charge on my visa that they were not supposd to, I had confirmation from the front desk clerk that it was included in the final price and once I called and said that it was included they then reversed the fee but still was not impressed with the that service

Last Minute package

Excellent hotel, clean room, good service, great location. No complaints...oh, except the next morning they hadn't replaced our package of coffee, so all that was left was the decaf, but I KNOW that if I'd called they would have brought me a regular coffee package, but I didn't bother because right down the hall in Scotia Square is a Tim Horton's and a Second Cup. Couldn't have a better location.

This hotel was very comfortable

I really liked this hotel, except for one thing...it did not have wifi in the rooms - only in the lobby. It does have free high speed internet connection in the rooms, but depending on your device this may not help you. We had a great breakfast here!
