While we were there for 3 nights there was no promised free wifi. On check-in staff has advised there was free wifi. When we tried to access same it didn't work. This was the case during our entire time. When we checked out we learned that staff had put in place an alternate wifi login but never advised us as customers even though we'd asked about this daily.

The wifi did not work for the entire duration of the stay which was the biggest downside. The room was ready 3 hours late which was ok just inconvienent.

Well, to start the women checking me in almost couldn't find my booking, the bedroom was ok, but needs some serious upgrades, there was paint peeling from the ceiling and some spots were dirty, the mirror in the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly and the toilet seat squeaked very loudly. Their was no wifi during my stay, and at check out their system was down and couldn't process my checkout, I almost didn't get my $150 damage deposit back. Oh and the carpet in the ice room on the third floor was soaking wet and was very unpleasant to walk on.

What was unique about this property? Check-in is 3pm, I arrive after driving all day at 3:45pm and am told my room is not ready so go walk around and we will call you in 45 minutes when it is ready. No call was ever received so I finally wandered back after 5:30pm to wait in line to try checking in again. No apology, no acknowledgement from the staff, no discount. Seriously, if the room wasn’t ready because nobody cleaned it, don’t lie about it requiring inspection after sneaking off to make a secret phone call with housekeeping. What is the point of claiming it needed to be inspected then giving a dirty room. The hotel is not close to full so give me another room or a free upgrade instead of telling me to take a walk and try again later. Dummies. The hotel is pretty dingy and lives only due to it’s location. Poor service, shabby rooms and run down facilities.

Location is great as the bus to the airport is right in front of the hotel. It is also within walking distance to the ferry, stores and citadel. There was no wifi during the entire duration of the stay. Unsure how long it was down before we checked in and there was no compensation or warning in advance.

Great location but tricky with parking options. Bit of a haul to get to parkade across the street. Friendly staff. Winding hallways made it tricky to come and go easily. Starting to show wear and tear. Worth the location.

Beds are very comfortable here. Not having a fan in the bathroom was not the best. Paying an extra $25.00 a day for parking the car we had forgotten about. The parking is not across the street like we had been told. Overall not unpleasant at all. We did go to the pool room but couldn’t clearly see the bottom so opted not to swim.

Wifi was out for duration of 4 day stay. My room was not stocked with shower soap when I arrived, and the room smelled bad. Other than that, the room was clean (carpet floors though), everywhere was walkable, connected by covered pathway to the casino. Elevators were slow and some buttons seemed to not work. Standard hotel room but there’s room for improvement.
