My wife and I ( in our 50s ) loved this place. We come to stay on the northshore to get away from the hustle bustle. This place was exactly that, country. The host and her family we extremely nice and they really made us feel at home. The property is very peaceful and we truly felt as if we were locals. They even have a super loving yellow lab that befriended me. If I could have one thing to add to make it absolutely perfect, it would be for to have air conditioning. I’m like a bear and need it really cold to sleep. To be honest though, this place is at a higher elevation and it never got too hot. All in all, we highly recommend this beautiful home if you like the Hawaiian country Northshore and peace and quiet. We will definitely be back!

We had an incredible stay! The hosts are so nice and took so good care of us! Everything was very clean and so beautifully decorated. We also loved the garden, the beautiful huge trees and the fruits we could pick from them. We had huge and absolutely delicious avocados! We love to stay there soon again!

What a neat little property! Easy access to the north shore including sharks cove for great snorkeling (5 minutes away) and the famous banzai pipeline. The rental is behind the owners permanent residence, so the owners are onsite and are super friendly and helpful when you have questions. We are dog lovers so was fantastic that there is a super friendly dog on the property that routinely came to visit when we were on the property. There’s also a friendly chicken that belongs to the property and would routinely swing by the rental to say hello lol. And there are plentiful fruit trees on the property that the owners allow you to pick from to consume. The oranges are delicious and we routinely used an avocado on our sandwiches for our packed lunches. Overall great place in a great spot away from the hustle of Honolulu and Waikiki!

Great little cottage. Very freindly host! Enjoyed a fresh orange from the garden! I recommend you stay! Minutes from Sunset Beach views, local grocery store and coffee shop!

Beautiful Location

Gorgeous property in the North Shore. Loved waking up to the sounds of all the birds. Kids loved looking for geckos and swinging in the tree swing. If you're looking for a quiet, remote place on the island, this is a good fit.

Perfect Pupukea paradise

We loved this quiet little spot! Property manager very helpful. She even let us pick fruit from her trees. Five min drive from Shark’s Cove. No AC but fans kept it comfortable. Quality mattresses. Even had beach chairs & snorkel gear for our use. Would recommend & would live to stay here again.

Fantastic!

We stayed here for a week (parents toddler) and loved absolutely everything about it. The host family is lovely (perfect balance of being super helpful and friendly while still giving guests ample privacy), the property is beautiful, and the suite is private, extremely clean, and well appointed. Simply could not ask for anything more and we look forward to coming back next year.

Best on the North Shore!

Righteous place and hosts! Beautiful Island style stay, away from the main road yet close to everywhere. Great tips, suggestions and directions from our hosts who are so full of Aloha. A really comfy guest house, fully equipped and very secure. So much better than the pricey resort up the road. We would love to come again!!
