La Muralla

Beautiful tipical canarian house in first sea line to the sea. A house full of history and preserved in its style and situated on the seafront in a fishing village on the southwest coast of the island. The access to the 2 homes in the first floor are through a canarian patio with garden. All rooms are located and has access along a balcony overlooking this patio. The property has a lounge, a fully equipped kitchen with integrated dining area, three bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The highlight is the large terrace with fantastic views to the Atlantic and the neighboring island of La Gomera, the beach and small fishing port. Who does not want to walk 3 minutes to the beach has just in front of the house an access to the sea via a ladder. It is perfect for people who are looking for something different, bohemian and quiet in front of the sea. The other home in the house is almost empty because the homeowners does not live in the Island. The house is equipped with photovoltaic panels, in order to achieve maximum energy efficiency.

It is expressly forbidden to hold events and parties, as well as the access of people not listed in the reservervation. It is also requested to respect the neighbours, not making noise from 22.00h. onwards.

Groups of young people under 20 years are not permitted.

Nicht makellos aber großartig

Großzügige Räumlichkeiten rund um einen offenen Innenhof über einen umlaufenden Balkon erreichbar. . Ansonsten alles da, was man braucht, Meer, Waschmaschine, Aussicht :-) Der Abstand der beiden Matratzen des Doppelbetts ist etwas arg groß.

Für uns war es die perfekte Unterkunft, von der Aussicht über das Haus selber mit seinem tollen Innenhof bis hin zur Einrichtung und dem kurzen Weg zum Meer, ich bin immer noch begeistert.

Loved it.

This was our 3rd attempt at staying here due to Covid & it was worth the wait. Lovely, quirky property. Great location, shops, bars & restaurants all within walking distance. Fantastic view. Would definitely recommend. All communication was perfect as well.

Lovely old house with all you need. Lovely terrace.

Perfect, if you like the basics of life without extra luxury than a a beautiful old house, lovely terrace, good kitchen, good restaurants and relaxed little town. The house is beautiful, a genuine original Canarian house lovingly maintained without modern refurbishment but with everything one needs. Very friendly owners and good rental agency.

Super Terasse, direkt am Meer, gute Ausstattung. Altes kanarisches Haus, einfach, aber schön eingerichtet. In der Küche war alles vorhanden. Gute Atmosphäre. Unten ist dss Haus bewohnt und auch sehr hellhörig. Ein Hinweis darauf wäre gut. Ab dem vorletzten Tag sind Gäste direkt oben nebenan eingezogen. Durch die offene Galerie hat man keine wirkliche Privatsphäre mehr. Ein zusätzliches Paar an Schlüsseln wäre gut. Ein Sonnenschirm für den Balkon wäre schön.

Fantastisk stemning og uovertruffen terasse. Kan man lide gamle bygninger og original byggestil incl skillevæge der er ikke går helt til loftet, skønne gl originale trægulve m.m., så er dette stedet. Køkkenet har alle moderne redskaber fra mikroovn til espressomaskeine med kapsler og alligevel fremstår det gl og hyggeligt. Stolene er gode at sidde i,, hvilket er vigtigt, når ferien er længere end 7 dage. Helt klart et sted vi meget gerne vender tilbage til.

Traumhafte Unterkunft im Südwesten der Insel

Das Haus hat sehr viel Charme. Die Terrasse mit Meerblick ist jedes Mal wieder sensationell. Inzwischen gibt es auch kostenloses WLAN. Der Ort ist nicht touristisch überlaufen und verfügt trotzdem über eine gute Infrastruktur (Supermärkte, Restaurants usw.). Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen bei Top Kanaren - ein besonderer Dank geht diesmal an Diana! Die Küche ist sehr einfach und könnte einen etwas moderneren Standard vertragen. Eine Spülmaschine und ein paar scharfe Messer wären schön gewesen.

Un petit paradis

La description de la location est tout à fait conforme à la réalité.C'est une ancienne maison qui favorise la vie à l'extérieur ; toutes les pièces donnent sur un patio. Dépaysement garanti ! La terrasse est superbe avec une vue magnifique . Situation calme et reposante avec le bruit de la mer en fond sonore. Bon équipement. Très bon accueil. Cependant une salle d'eau supplémentaire serait la bienvenue en cas d'occupation de 6 personnes. Situation impeccable proche à pieds de bons restaurants et des plages. Immer wieder herrlich

Unser zweiter Aufenthalt hier (und ganz sicher nicht unser letzter). Ein netter Ort, etwas abseits der krassen Touristenhochburgen. Trotzdem hat man alles da: Läden, Supermärkte, Restaurants, Cafés. Die Wohnung ist echt schön, der Blick aufs Meer und La Gomera wunderbar. Die Küche hat alles, um sich komplett selbst zu versorgen. Und die sympathische Betreuung durch das Team von Top Kanaren rundet das Ganze ab. Kurzum: sehr empfehlenswert!

Besonderes Appartement mit Kolonialcharme

Haben hier eine wunderbar entspannte Woche verbracht. Bei dem Objekt handelt es sich um kein klassisches Urlaubsappartment, sondern eher um eine Etage mit umlaufender Galerie, von der die einzelnen Zimmer abgehen. Man tritt aus dem Zimmer und befindet sich unter freiem Himmel. Die große Sonnenterrasse mit unverbautem Meerblick ist das absolute Highlight dieser Unterkunft. Hier haben wir im Grunde jede freie Minute verbracht. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Unten im Haus ist ein Café. Da kann man nett sitzen, den Ausblick genießen und sich über die günstigen Getränkepreise freuen. Lärm geht von dem Café keiner aus. Das einzige Geräusch ist ein konstantes Meeresrauschen. Lediglich die Betten sind nicht so der Hit. Quietschen bei jedem Umdrehen und die Matratzen naja... Dennoch ohne jeden Zweifel 5 Sterne - wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Katja und Andreas

Perle in der Perle

Es war toll in diesem Haus, das genau den Fotos und den Angaben entspricht, stilvoll eingerichtet ist und eine wohlige, südlich-passende Atmosphäre verbreitet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt – auch die Wohnungsübergabe und –Rücknahme haben ebenfalls einwandfrei funktioniert – grosses Kompliment! Zudem ist nicht nur die Wohnung eine Perle, sondern ebenfalls die geniale Lage am Meer und zum Dorfkern und damit auch Alcala selbst als - im Vergleich zu den Touri-Hotspots - noch recht ursprünglich (aber nicht veraltet;-)) erhaltenes Fischerdorf mit einmalig friedlicher Atmosphäre. Wer gerne Ruhe und Privatsphäre hat, schöne Aussicht auf Meer und Nachbarinsel geniesst und doch gerne mit ein paar wenigen Schritten unter Leuten ist, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Wir sind zudem Taucher und fasziniert, wieviele verschiedene Fischarten schon allein die kleine Bucht beim Schnorcheln hergab. Zum "richtigen" Tauchen sind wir dann jeweils die 15min mit dem Mietauto zur Tauchbasis Dive Center Aquanautic nach Playa Paraiso gefahren und haben von dort aus ein paar tolle Tauchgänge erlebt. Alles in allem - perlenhaft:-)

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt – auch die Wohnungsübergabe und –Rücknahme haben ebenfalls sehr gut funktioniert – grosses Kompliment! Ebenfalls toll ist natürlich die Lage direkt am kleinen aber feinen Strand. Und obschon dieser gut besucht ist, ist die Atmosphäre insgesamt sehr ruhig und friedlich. Das Wasser in der Bucht war meist sehr klar und es gibt einiges an verschiedenen Fischen und Krebsen zu sehen. Wer Ruhe & Erholung sucht, zwischendurch gerne durch die Gässlein eines noch recht ursprünglich erhaltenen Fischerdörfchens schlendert und dabei die eine oder andere kulinarische Entdeckung machen möchte, dem kann ich diese Ferienwohnung wärmstens empfehlen. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle gerne mal wieder:-)

Paradise!!

We have just had the most wonderful holiday in this charming Canarian house, it's location is idyllic and the village of Alcala is equally charming. We were received by a a very nice and helpful lady, she gave us a warm welcome, many thanks to you Durje. The house is exceptionally well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The ceilings are high and and the rooms are spacious, it has sucha lovely atmosphere, reminiscent of times gone by. We enjoyed the spectacular views from the large terrace,no noise at any time but in the silence of the night one could hear a slight murmur of the sea, it was bliss. We have found our favourite destination and accommodation so we shall return again and again. Thank you very much..

urlaub perfekt

eigentlich dürfte man hier nicht schreiben wie traumhaft dieses haus ist.. der perfekte ort zum entspannen und die seele baumeln lassen. die casa muralla ist super ausgestattet,die küche hat alles was man braucht und mehr,die zimmer sind mit viel liebe zum detail eingerichtet. der ursprüngliche charakter des hauses ist erhalten,der innenhof traumhaft bepflanzt und der blick von der terasse auf das meer und gomera ein genuss! das örtchen hat uns gut gefallen,nicht überlaufen ,gemütlich und dennoch das pure leben.wir sind oft zum tappas essen die paar meter gegangen,ist ja alles in einer minute zu erreichen. wer gerne baden& sonnen geht hat gleich den strand vor der türe. wir können die casa muralla auf jeden fall weiterempfehlen!!! mit der vermittlung hat auch alles geklappt. wenn der weg uns nochmal auf die insel führt, wissen wir schon wo wir wohnen möchten. in "unserem traumhaus am meer"!

Erholung pur

Die Wohnung ist wirklich ein Traum. Sie ist genauso wie beschrieben. Wir haben jeden Morgen und Abend den Meerblick genossen und Nachts die Sterne von der Dachterasse aus angeschaut (inkl. Sternschnuppen). Tagsüber lädt das Meer zum Baden ein. Bei Flut kann man auch von der Kaimauer in das Hafenbecken springen. Schnorchelausrüstung sollte man dabei haben, da das Meer viel zu bieten hat. Der Stadtstrand liegt unterhalb des Hauses, so dass man sich zwischendurch auch schnell einmal abfrischen kann. Zum Einkaufen geht man problemlos in die umliegenden Supermercados. Wer gerne Essen geht, kann das bei SAUCO, liegt direkt am Meer an der Uferpromenade mit Blick auf Gomera - super Sonnenuntergang, mit sehr gutem Essen. Ansonsten kann man auch die Bars und Cafes rund um die Plaza probieren. Alternativ kann man auch in der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche selber kochen und dann auf der Terasse bei Meerblick essen. Es gefiehl uns so gut, dass wir kaum Ausflüge machten und die meiste Zeit in Alcala gefaulenzt haben.

El Paradiso

.. es ist genauso traumhaft schön, wie die Fotos es versprechen. Nein, schöner :-) Die Beschreibung ist sehr zutreffend und die Wohnung ist wirklich etwas sehr besonderes, so ganz anders als ein 0815 Appartement. Solch historischen Charme kann man sonst oft nur gegen Eintrittsgeld bei Besichtigungen genießen. Und mit allem Charme ist die Wohnung sehr komfotabel, sauber, gemütlich und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Küche z.B. ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Das Highlight ist natürlich die große Terasse. Mit Ausblick auf Palmen, Felsenklippen und Meer (und falls man die Augen auf dem Liegestuhl schließt: mit Meeresrauschen und paradiesischem Vogelgezwitscher!) kann man hier (fast) den ganzen Tag die Sonne genießen. Einzigartig ist auch der kurze Weg zum Schwimmvergnügen in der ruhigen Badebucht. Fast jeden Morgen und jeden Abend gönnten wir uns ein kurzes Meerbad. Auch wenn es im Februar morgens vor dem Frühstück Überwindung kostete, in das kühle Meer zu steigen, so war es erleichternd zu wissen, dass der Weg zum Bad und zur warmen Dusche so kurz war. Uns hat besonders gut gefallen, dass Alcala noch ein sehr ursprünglicher Ort ist. Ältere Tenerfinos, die plaudernd auf der Bank sitzen, grüßen morgens beim Brötchen holen. Die Brötchen und auch alles andere gibt es in einem kleinen Supermarkt in 5 Min Entfernung. Wir wandern gerne und hatten in der näheren Umgebung viele schöne Wanderziele vor allem im Tenogebirge und am Teide entdeckt. Zu den umliegenden Restaurants können wir leider gar nichts sagen: wir fanden die Wohnung und die Terasse mit dem Ausblick auf La Gomera im Abendrot soooo schön, dass wir sie abends nicht mehr verlassen wollten. Kurzum: für uns war es der perfekte Urlaub: sehr ruhig, wunderschöne Naturausflüge, ein wenig spanisches Leben hautnah und wenig Touristenrummel - El Paradiso für uns :-)
