Some late night or very early morning staff could be friendlier and professional in appearance and demeanor. Safety with upkeep to ensure outer doors actually close without extra pulling so key cards have to be used.

Cleaning could be improvised a bit more. Also, hotel or at least the 3rd floor is supposed to be considered “smoke free” however every time we would step into the bathroom of our hotel room you could get a strong smell of cigarettes as of someone had been smoking in there. We realized it came in through the bathroom vent. Not sure if from the room next door or where, but the bathroom door had to remain closed otherwise the whole room would reek of cigarette smoke.

My husband travels extensively for work and stays at many Holiday Inn Express properties. Not really a complaint, but an observation. The wall lamps by the bed are switched. The light switches are on the outside and should be inside by the bed. LOL. Found it numerous but it may need to be switched sides.
