Sleep Inn needs to step up its game!

Pros: The bed was comfortable and the location is reasonably convenient.
Cons: Housekeeping, front desk staff and maintenance.
I often travel to Aiken for work and decided to try Sleep Inn. I had a few issues: 1. It took me a ridiculously long time to check in (even though I had paid in advance) 2. I was told nothing about the hotel amenities (happy hour, guest pass at Gold's Gym next door, etc) 3. I found a half full coffee pot in my room upon arrival. The half full coffee pot stayed in exactly the same condition for the duration of my stay (3 nights) even when I moved it to the counter for housekeeping to notice it. Old coffee filter and everything! 4. Broken sprinkler heads all over the property gushing geysers all over the parking lot. Water everywhere! The good news is that when I finally found someone who was responsive at the front desk, she was very kind, made lots of notes for the manager and owner and sent me up to my room with a bottle of wine from happy hour. She was the bright spot in an otherwise dim hotel. I will not be returning.
