New weekend destination, great all around!

This property was by far one of the best I have ever stayed at. The atmosphere was so inviting. The historical information online was so amazing. Everything we needed was either in the hotel or within a stones throw. The bed seemed like it was too firm when we first tried it out, but ended up being the first time I have been pain free after a night's sleep in forever! The hot tub and pool area was clean and unlike other properties we have stayed at was not full of children in the hot tub without parents!

It’s a very cool historic property that has maintained the feel of yesteryear. Staff is very nice and it’s easy to park and get around. The pool is nice as is the hot tub. The issues we had were with the room. There was something on the floor near the bed that smelled horrid and never went away. The shower door is designed so there is a gap and water leaks out whenever you shower. The bed is horribly uncomfortable and the heat is excessively loud when it turns on or off. Not sure if it is all rooms, but the windows are very small and you don’t realize it until you pull back the massive shades and see that they are covering a tiny window and mostly wall.
