"Very clean and spacious room; quiet even though located in a busy area; professional staff; noted the jacuzzi/hot tub and the pool, but did not use them; breakfast was varied enough and the food tasted fine (I actually really enjoyed the oatmeal they provided). Highly recommend."

"Very decent place to stay. Nothing extravagant, but the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. I stayed here for its close proximity to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, which was just a few minutes walk down the Great Allegheny Passage that passes right in front of the hotel. You can also walk the trail for great views of the Potomac River and other scenery. The pool was on the smaller side and I couldn’t get the hot tub to work, but my husband and I were the only ones using it at the time and it was decent enough for a short swim. The free breakfast was adequate with bacon and eggs, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, muffins, etc. Would have liked to have hash browns or fried potato as well, but the bacon and eggs were sufficient enough to start the day with. Overall it was a nice stay."
