The pool- our reason for staying- was open, but obviously under updating & repairs. No hot tub access which sucks after a day filled with hiking. Breakfast didnt open until after we were gone which also sucks.

Honeymoon don’t

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and it was the biggest mistake, the bed was so uncomfortable, it felt like you were laying on springs without any padding. You could trace every spring with your finger not to mention there was big dips in the bed where people have slept before. There was a dirty washcloth on our nightstand covered in someone else’s makeup when we got to the room and the bathtub had a bench in it that took up most the tub and when you went to lift it up and hook it to the latch on the wall the whole thing started to come out of the wall completely, so since we couldn’t put the bench up and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay in the tub and water got all over the floor when you tried to shower… I didn’t bother informing the front desk about the problems when we got there because it was so late and we drove 10 hours to get there, there was no way I was staying after that night so I got the rest of my stay refunded with a little bit of attitude from the manger however when he fully understood what I was asking for he was more than helpful. The building is very old and has no elevators and the pool has been in the process of remodeling for a very long time from what my husband read on other reviews the pool has been closed for months.

The pool was out of order, the washing machine in laundry room was out of order, the coffemaker in our room was out of order. Two major hotel anemities for a travelling family was out of order. This could have been notified in advance for guests to able to make an informed decision on getting another hotel.

Check in was great. We were met with very friendly staff. We were checked in quickly. We asked for dinner recommendations and were given several. There is no elevator in this hotel and a lot of stairs. The only access to our room was thru the back door but the parking spaces were full and I wasn’t going to park in the very back. The hall we walked down had a musty smell but I realized it was the people that were ahead of us. Overall, nice hotel.

Expedia did not say the pool and hot tub were closed for renovation. The pictures of the hotel are AI because the room we got did not look like that at all. It was dirty and smelled awful. There is no elevator. The lady at the front desk was great. She was helpful and helped us cancel our reservation.
