"The cottage is in a beautiful and peaceful location, and the surrounding nature is lovely. However, our check-in experience was a bit stressful. We arrived around 5pm but were unable to reach the host initially. After some time, she called back and mentioned that she had forgotten to send the check-in instructions with the key information. There were also quite a number of house rules and requirements after arrival that were not clearly stated on the booking page. For example, the washing machine is not available for short-stay guests. Check-in itself was simple once we received the instructions, but check-out requires guests to complete quite extensive cleaning. We did our best to leave the place tidy, but the cleaning took quite a bit of time and delayed our next travel plans. "Great stay and friendly staff. Having to carry luggage to second floor was tough. Also, would not recommend the breakfast. Our fruit was prepackaged and the yogurt was expired by almost a month."
