There is a lot of room for improvement of the overall cleanliness of the property. We had to purchase cleaning supply and clean the first night of the stay. All of the dishes and cooking utensils were dirty with old dried food on them. We were left with two regular sized trash bags for a stay of 7 days. There was a lack of paper goods, wash clothes blankets. We were not able to keep food in the refrigerator due to it not staying to temperature in order to keep food from spoiling.

The house was very clean and spacious! The location was convenient for our family to enjoy Homecoming at Hobart with our son. We will definitely be booking this property again in the future when visiting Geneva.

Parking was fine, no yard to speak of. No outside space at all, actually. The house was a strange layout, and didn't enjoy the washer dryer right in the room... strange. The ac units needed to run all the time to keep the place from feeling stuffy. The beds, etc were all great. Kitchen was very sparse and looks like an after thought. No upper cabinets, no hood or vent for the stove and range, and everything is in one counter. No room to use the kitchen because everything is in the counter and there is no room. That being said, we enjoyed the stay, and the closeness to the town and the area attractions was perfect. We had a fuse blow and the property management was there is just a few hours to get that back on. Worked well, and was a pleasant stay.

A very nice older home with nice gathering spots downstairs and 4 bedrooms upstairs. It was summer and the AC kept the place quite comfortable.A few short blocks from downtown Geneva which has quite a number of good places to eat (try the Rusty Pig - excellent!). We did quite a lot of gorge hiking and this was a quiet, centrally located spot. Oh, and a few wineries, cideries, breweries and distilleries around...Overall excellent stay and worked very well for what we needed.

I did not enjoy my stay at this property. As mentioned by others, the walls and doors had badly chipped paint, mismatched and cutoff doors, holes that had been drilled and then painted over but not filled. The windows, flooring and heat registers were not clean and the downstairs is extremely dark due to the proximity of the houses on either side. I agree with the other reviewer that the back deck does not feel solid and you could see visible dry rot on the outside window frame as you approach the back door. The front porch had some litter and an overflowing mailbox which further detracted from the property. The property doesn't appear to have been well maintained and there were also lighting issues including a flickering lightbulb in the upstairs bathroom, some wiring issues with the stair well light and in the downstairs bathroom a paper bag tucked into the window opening, presumably for privacy. I didn't find it comfortable or inviting at all, unfortunately.

We had lots of trouble with this stay. I always read reviews. There were only two, but VRBO assured me this was an experienced renter. I was wrong to rent this property and will not rent from Vibe again. When we arrived in the evening for our stay, there were no lights on at all. The front door did not have the security lock on it. When walking around to the back, we tripped on about 20-30 plastic garbage bags full of stinky trash that was simply thrown on the ground. Nearly tripped and fell. Back steps were rickety. Upon getting into the house, it appeared very unkept. Lots of paint peeling off walls. Steps peeling paint, very dark, light would not go on in the stairwell, oldsofas left with ugly covers on them, windows randomly left open for animals (who were drawn by the trash outside) to crawl in. Dirty under-ware under the bed, hair in the shower, toilet seats that have one bolt on them that slid whenever you sat down. Five towels left for a paid party of eight people. Some kind of fluids splashed and dried on bedroom walls. Dishwasher with broken glass and blocked pipes. Windows that don’t go up. Think old frat house that has not been cleaned or straightened up in years, it was worse. I called management at Vibe. No answer. Machine merely hangs up on you. Only way to communicate? Text. Just wait for your response. We traveled a long way. If this was my first VRBO-I would NEVER rent again. I will tell you that I will never consider Vibe again.

Other than ants and a smell that we could not get rid of, the house was in a great location that allowed us to move seamlessly with our reunion plans!

The house was good overall! Great updated house with good heat with the cooler temps. The bathroom windows looked directly at the house next door and the upstairs shower is very small. Kitchen could use oven mits but the pool table was great! The house was short walk to downtown with all the restaurants and shops. It is also located close to Wegmans, We had a great long weekend staying there!
