We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Porter's house! It was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed and then some! Kathy was such a friendly host. We got to learn a little bit about the property and watch the cows come to eat. Check-in was quick and easy. We loved the spacious kitchen and closet space! If there hadn't been a fire ban due to lack of rain, we would have loved to use the fire pit to roast marshmallows. One morning there were lots of turkeys on the hill behind the house! It was such a comfortable and peaceful place to stay. We hope to stay there again on future vacations up north!

Golf Weekend

The house worked great for a foursome of golfers. The house is clean, comfortable and in great shape. The location works great for golf since there are many courses within 30 minutes. The location is very peaceful.

Beautiful Home All the Way Around

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, serene, peaceful. VERY clean and cozy. We will be back. We stayed for snowmobiling and it was a perfect location to catch the trail head.

Quiet and relaxing stay

Our family had a great time here. Everything was as described in the listing. It was very clean and cozy. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it seemed to be well-supplied. The outdoors can be enjoyed with coffee on the deck or a fire. The kids enjoyed visiting the friendly cows.

Up north get away

House was very clean. Host were welcoming but also left you in privacy, the rental is right on their property. The queen bed was not comfortable, dipped in the middle , but we ended up using the king bed which was fine. I have a back issue so have to be careful of the bed I sleep on. Other beds were on the harder side, however if you don’t have back issues I’m sure all the beds are good for most people. The house was in a great location, very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the use of the fire pit, with wood provided. We were here to see the fall colors and they were beautiful!! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Guesthouse in Woods

This is a beautiful guesthouse that is super clean, well maintained, and has all the necessary amenities. It is off the beaten path and very quiet, but easy to access, and a great location for the Gaylord area. A great value!

Perfect for our Family

The stay here was great from check-in to check-out. My husband and I brought our two teenagers, their friend, and our two younger boys. The space was perfect - we had all we needed and more. We were most pleased with the cleanliness and quality of bedding, furniture, and really the entire house/property. We hope to stay again, some day!
