"I booked this stay last min on our road trip coming home, I wanted to stay near the lake and it was a good price. little did I know the pool was down for maintenance, not their fault I should have double checked, but when I paid on my hotels.com app there was a 'resort fee' in the total which i am use to but when i checked in to the hotel, they hold $116 for incidentals and a resort fee, but when I checked out they returned the $100 but I owed the $16 resort fee, that was new to me, maybe it as an Indiana thing, I'm from MN so it was just different. the Casino was nice, bigger than I thought it would be, the only food available at the time was a bistro and the prices were exorbitant! I frequent MANY Casinos throughout the year and I always end up eating at them, but $7 for a fruit cup seems a bit pricey. $16 for a panini with no sides, again a bit pricey. the room was nice, beds were springy which is not uncommon, I liked the shower, it was a roomy stand up only but the water never got hot enough to take a shower, it was room temp at best, the sink got hot... that was disappointing as we had been on the road for 8 hours and wanted a hot shower. all in all, i would not be back to stay here, if its the only option around i can see why its a draw which is unfortunate, very pretty inside, loved the lighting and ambiance but that's it."
