Family friendly!

My family really enjoyed all the swimming options. The lazy river is really long, the water temperature was pleasant and they had tubes available. Vacasa brought more beach towels quickly when we didn't have enough. It was nice to have the indoor pool for night swimming. Beach access is close. We used the available grills and found most kitchen items we needed. There were a few plastic cups to take down to the pool area but there were no plastic plates so plan accordingly if you want to eat by the pool. The beds were comfortable and plenty of seating options. Highly recommend Seahorse Grill and Seawall Coffee across the street.

Very dirty

The unit was beautifully decorated and had an awesome view. Upon arrival our unit was very dirty. Look like whoever cleaned it was in a rush. Appliances and cabinets have food all over them. Glass table had smears on it. Mirrors had handprints, that look like from a child. Easter grass and Sprinkles all over the floors and back porch had chocolate frosting on the table and sprinkles. Ants were all over the back porches, because it had not been cleaned up. Found Easter grass in a couple of the beds and worst of all, one of the beds had crushed Cheez-Its, long black hairs, and sprinkles in the bed. Look like they had just made the beds but did not change the sheets. Very disgusting and very disappointing. We called management they sent somebody out. The girl took a few pictures wipe down the kitchen and the dining room table, then left. We had to wash our own sheets that first night. It was A beautiful Propert , but would not stay there again.

The description of location is exact, very nice place. 2nd bathroom shower head needed to be fixed, water was spraying out the top. Kitchen was not equipped with coffee or any seasons, sugar, salt or pepper. Very nice space and clean.

Beautiful property

The unit we rented was really lovely, but the amenities for which we had to pay (resort fee) seemed exorbitant since none of them were available save the gym. The fireplace did not work and the telephone number given to help problem solve was no help. Texted back and forth for 1 1/2 days, and left without getting it to work. The thermostats were a bit different and no instructions were given for them, the television, or the fireplace. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our time together.

Peaceful Stay

We visited with my husband, kids 6 and 8, and my parents. The unit is massive and tasteful furnished. So many things to do on site including an indoor pool (outdoor was too cold), arcade with free games, and a movie theater you could reserve. I would have been happy just staying in the condo and sipping wine on the patio though. It had a gorgeous view and is on the top floor.

Abolutely FABULOUS

This unit is incredible. The view is amazing! There are two patios for you to enjoy. One with comfortable seating and one with a farm table for enjoying dining. The kitchen is stocked and ready for cooking. There was no expense spared for the furniture. It's all cozy and comfortable, even has two remote control rocking chairs. The beds are comfortable and have remotes to lift your head to watch TV or read. Each room has its own bathroom for privacy. THE TUBS in two of the bathrooms are large enough to float in. The unit is very clean and even has a separate area for kids to play and watch tv. Check in was super easy. We didn't utilize the pool area, as it was a little cool. However, there is an indoor heated pool and hot tub. We were surprised with all the high-end amenities that the bathroom towel were small and cheap and did not absorb at all. However, that wasn't a huge deal. We still loved our stay and enjoyed ourselves.

Beach access is difficult. Front desk said there was handicap accessible beach access. No there is not. Able body people were having a hard time! We drove to a nearby beach. Dining room chairs need pads on the feet. Downstairs neighbor came up to tell us chairs are very loud. Coffee pot broken. We still had a great time.

Great experience but who is the property manager?

Property is exactly as the photos suggest—two awesome outdoor pools, including the lazy river. Great location next to a sandy beach area for easy access to the Gulf. Cleanliness of property and condo is five star. I definitely recommend to anyone coming to Galveston. However, there is a big confusion about who is the property manager of the condo—VRBO or Vacasa? VRBO likes to label certain properties as “ Super Host” properties because the owner carefully manages the property. This condo has has an absentee owner who uses Vacasa, located in Oregon, which refuses to answer any questions about the inside of the condo. Vacasa says renters must contact VRBO regarding any questions or deficiencies inside the condo unit. So who is really in charge of managing the property? This is a serious disconnect for renters. If renters have a problem, who do they contact?????

Pretty as a Picture

Really the pics don't do justice to how pretty this place is! Wonderful views, and the property was awesome. Wish I was still in that lazy river. Walk to the ocean. Great place for our family trip. We had 8 here and 3 family member next door. Nice memories. Only thing was the coffee pot did not work so I had to go buy one. No big deal, but they had one of those single cup Kurics which would not have worked for our bunch. We have coffee drinkers in the family.

Multi generation Family Vacation

We got there at exactly 4pm check in time after traveling over 2 hours to arrive. We were told our room would not be ready for at least an hour. We were tired and all wanted a cup of coffee and to be out of the car. Front desk offered nothing but an apology. I asked her if she could make coffee and she said not in the afternoon only in the morning. Management needs to address the inability of there staff to accommodate the guests especially for something so simple. I am telling you that a few cups of coffee would have changed everything at this time. I even expressed that to the lady and all she offered was an apology. She did finally give me some paperwork to fill out and return to begin the check in process. The process wasn't all bad, but we started out on the wrong foot. Then we finally get our room still wanting coffee, and the darn coffe maker doesn't work. Somebody had put the basket for the Keurig in the garbage disposal and ground it into pieces. Again, no help from the front desk, Vacasa, or management. We had to go to Walmart and buy a coffee maker. I left so many messages with Vacasa and no response from them at all. Management was there. I could see them in their office. The desk clerks said it is not their responsibility to take care of the things that don't work in a condo in their facility because they are privately owned. It does make sense, but Again hospitality is their game I thought. Other than that, the accommodations of the condo were nice

Amazing Beach Location

This was our family's first time staying at Diamond Beach Condos, and we were not disappointed! Condo 714 is top floor facing the pool and beach. This four bedroom/four bathroom condo was perfect for our family. There are two bedrooms on each side of the living area and this gave great privacy for adults and kiddos. Two large balconies allow for outdoor living/dinning and were well used even in the August heat. The entire place is very modern and updated. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils/pots/pans/etc. Keurig for coffee was missing a piece to hold the pods but other than that we had everything we needed. Washer and dryer are new and easy to use. The free standing bathroom has a nice tub if you need it. There are no beach toys/towels/chairs in this unit so be sure to pack your own. The primary bedroom does not have a closet but there is an armoire of drawers in the bath/shower area and a dresser near the bed. Each bedroom has it's own TV which was nice for kiddos in the evening. The building has a lot of nice amenities but not all are available all the time. For instance the swim up bar in the lazy river was only open Fri/Sat/Sun. Also, the waterslide is out of service and seems to have been for some time. The game room was okay but some of the machines weren't working 100%. Staff was very helpful at check-in and throughout the stay. There are carts available near the first floor elevators that made load in/out very easy. Overall amazing and we will be back!

Awesome place

We loved our stay!! It was clean, had plenty of space to not be on top of one another, and I loved the location! The pool and lazy river were great, and I loved how you can walk down to the beach! Will recommend to family and friends and be back in the future for sure!

Gorgeous Galveston

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The owner definitely has exceptional taste in the quality of the furniture; amenities and decorations. The view and the condominium is gorgeous! As a family we loved everything. I do have to mention a few things that I feel the owner needs to know, the lever in the guest bathroom would not work to change usage from tub to shower; there was a breakfast chair that was wobbly which was unsafe; the communication to notify us when it was ready for us to check in was never received; and when I booked we were accommodated with 2 parking spots one in garage and one in parking lot. We were told by Vacasa management that a prior guest either lost and/or did not return the garage key or opener therefore we had to park in the parking lot. This need to be addressed to the owner. This was one of the conditions in choosing this condominium. Please also inform the iwner

Great location with amazing views.

Loved the unit. We had to fix the screen doors, but everything was in perfect condition. Amenities were excellent. From corn hole to the lazy river to playing pool, there is all kinds of things to do! A gate from the activity area leads out to the beach! The only negative we had was an alarm that kept us awake the entire last night, which led to us leaving early instead of enjoying our last day there. Kind of felt like we were cheated out of a day. The alarm was a fluke thing.

Incredible view

Condo was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Because master room closet was locked, we had no where to hang clothes. Nevertheless, the unit was wonderful.
