Host was great! Great communication, and the house was clean and cute and so close to the pier. It was really nice to have a space for my dogs in the backyard and it was fenced in nicely so the little dogs cant get out. Thanks again, will stay again on the next trip before our cruise!

Fredrick was an amazing host and very accommodating. The communication was excellent. The property is as shown and described. I walked almost everywhere that I needed to go. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends.

for the most part all was good. I was a little grossed out by the refrigerator exterior, looked like the refrigerator was found on the side of the road, was covered in rust spots, the same for the shower curtain rod. The bathroom rug looks like it has not been cleaned in months. I was a little surprised by entering the location from a questionable ally way. I had to circle the property multiple times to ensure I was at the right location. I did have an issue with the AC unit in the bedroom, it was freezing in the room, so I tried to adjust it up a degree or two, then I had issues with the unit, but I got it fixed with the help of Kim. Also, just a suggestion, the pillows on the bed were super hard and woke up with a neck ache. Is there a reason why they were hard? not comfortable at all. Could not sign the guest book, it was full. Thank you Scott

So cute & close to the beach!

Spent a week here & it was so wonderful being close enough to the beach to be able to walk there!The rainfall shower was amazing & very relaxing after a day in the sun!

The apartment was nice, some of the furniture is fraying and the cabinets and counters have been lived in. They have decent pots and pans that we were able to make our food with so we didn't need to eat out often. It takes about 10mins to get to other parts of the island, by car, but it was an easy navigation.The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in that I did not own, the pillows were absolutely incredible. Truly, best sleep of my year. We booked the apartment because of the shower we saw in the photos, and we don't have a nice shower at home. It was a little bit of a let down, not all of the nozzle turned on at the same time, but the overhead waterfall was a nice addition to the shower, felt like rain showers . I would bring your own towels, the once provided are a bit itchy and scratchy.Our feet did find dried dog bones and dog treats in the carpet during the night once, but as pet owners it was an easy cleanup, honestly, it just means that it is a PET FRIENDLY rental, which we wish we took advantage of.All in all an 8.5/10, there was nothing WRONG with the apartment, it did not have something that sent the experience over the edge BUT I am thankful it wasn't a catfish apartment (looked like the photos and nothing smelled).Would absolutely rent again.

Always a nice place to stay!

The property is just the right size for us and 10 year old granddaughter. It is consistently clean and comfortable. She loves the backyard which is fenced in and short walk to the beach.

Cool garage apartment for island visit

This property (including the tricky parking situation) was accurately described by the owner in the online listing. Great location for visiting Galveston. The only downside: Because of recent heavy rains, the common mid-block alley-way (which provides access to the only designated parking spot) was a muddy mess, with several large potholes holding ankle-deep water. It made getting in and out of the parking spot (which requires exiting the car to open and close the gate) even more challenging.

Great little place to stay

My husband, myself and out 2 small dogs stayed here over Christmas. We found the location to be awesome as it was walking distance to the water and many puppy friendly restaurants (about 2 small blocks). The place was clean and tidy, and the furniture was comfortable to sit and sleep on. The host was very responsive to any of the questions that i emailed to him prior to our visit!!The pillows were not comfortable (we did bring our own per the advice of another reviewer). The picture of the livingroom needs to be updated as the couch that someone could sleep on is no longer there and a smaller couch is now in its place, though it is comfortable. We would totally stay here again!

Perfect little stay!

Great location, easy gate access that was no problem for our ford escape. The apartment was cute and clean. Had a few issues with the shower head but that was resolved within an hour. The bed was comfortable and the tv in the living room was great! The small yard was great for our pup as well!

Anniversary Get-Away

The rental was pretty much what we expected. It was super cute, and felt like home away from home. It rained 95% of the time we were there, and we were still able to enjoy the vacation thanks to the homet vibes. Would definitely book again!!

I really enjoyed the fact that the property had a coffee maker and plenty of coffee for us to indulge. The shower was amazing 10/10 only downfall is parking but they were very clear from the beginning, which I appreciate.
