Great Galveston Getaway!

The house is nice and clean. Nothing fancy, but it has everything you need and is just a few steps from the beach. Amazing deck with great views, too. We had our 2 dogs with us, so one of the best things was the fenced in back yard. It was so nice to be able to just let them out without having to worry about anything. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing Location

We spent just over a week at the house and absolutely loved our stay. Its a short walk from the beach and about a 30 minute drive into Galveston city for the sites and attractions. One of the major draws to this house was the fact you don't have to cross any streets to get to the beach. Also that we had a hose to wash off sand after spending time in the ocean. Really felt like home away from home. Also I had a 3 year old and the house was perfect for her too. Would stay again 100%!!!

Son's First Beach Trip

My family and I LOVED our stay! The house itself was so spacious and clean and to be able to simple walk a few feet to the beach was incredible. It was our 4 year old son's first time to the beach and we celebrated his birthday as well; he had a blast! The fenced-in backyard was also perfect for our small dogs we brought along with us. We look forward to visiting again!

We had a fabulous time!

We really enjoyed our visit to Galveston! The property location was awesome and we loved the area and met some really sweet people on the beach. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. I think it is slightly smaller in person than the description online, but that did not affect our stay and our group of 6 was comfortable. The short walk to the beach from the house was amazing! The beach was clean and not crowded at all, we loved that so many people in the area bring their dogs and we def will too next time!

Walk to the beach

The location of the house is great. I chose this house because it is very close to the beach. The house had everything we needed for our vacation. We cooked, slept well and had a lot of fun at this place.

Great location, but small

Excellent location, really close to the beach and near stores, etc. Home is MUCH smaller than appears in photos and is in need of some updates all around. Was small even for 4 people. Decor could use a refresh. TV in main bedroom did not work, but management company responded quickly to our maintenance request. Was good at the last minute and with our dog, but was over priced for what it is.

Overall good

We liked the house and the location. Some problems were noted. The dryer was extremely loud so we could not dry anything while we were at the house. The other issue was that the yard was only mowed in a small section. We choose this house because it had a yard for our dogs but we didn’t get to use it bc the grass was too tall. One of the door knobs fell off when we got there and a person was sent quickly to replace it. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware and there were plenty of beach towels. The deck was really nice and would have been great if the umbrella that was there worked, but it was broken. The TV in the master always had lines across the screen. Overall the location made up for these problems.

Wonderful experience

This is a great house close to the beach. It is closer than the pictures make it look. The are fabulous views from the porch with excellent seating and tables. Even a fire pit although we didn't use it. Everything you could possibly need is in the home! It was sucked as well as my home. My family stayed for a week and had a great time. We can't wait for our next visit!!

We loved our stay!

My family loved our stay at the Beach Waves home. It was the perfect size for us. The furnishings were very nice and made it feel homey. It was very clean. The short walk to the beach was great. We would definitely stay here in the future.

Beach Trip

Overall the place was good. Upon getting there and setting bags in the counter we discovered small ants on the kitchen counter. I killed all that I saw and put all food in fridge and didn’t see anymore throughout our stay. Good location with quick access to the beach.
