"Best night of sleep I have had in a hotel. The beds and pillows are heavenly. Beautiful hotel, steeped in history and sea side charm. The grounds are well manicured with beautiful flowers. I enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool. They also have a nice indoor pool as well. Loved having the after hours bar and kitchen available to relax with my family after a long day. This place is top notch. The only criticism I have is that since it has been taken over by Hyatt , they have modernized this hotel too much in terms of decor. It feels more standard now and lacks the warmth and luxe feel of the old grand sea side hotels. I wish they could reclaim that a bit. Especially since this is one of their World Destination sites. The lobby feels a bit empty and generic. It’s a shame they got rid of the wooden bar. Although the marble bar may be the one modern feature with some style."
