The breakafast for westerners was really poor , mainly Japanese dishes and not many vegetarian options, staff was great and polite and helpful thoughout , room was adequate and for once as not cold due to hotel centrally controlled temperatures

Hotel Trad is a good hotel if you are looking for something that is reasonable and reasonable walk to most of the sites. It is not near the train station but the bus stop is only a 3 minute walk. If I were to return to Fukuoka I would probably find a hotel that was closer to Hakata mall or Tenjin shopping district and closer to the train stations.

Apart from accommodation, I used this place to park my rental car as I intended to drive out of Fukuoka. Price at the time is ¥1500 per night (though has caveats), which gives me a piece of mind that the car is safely stored. Thanks!
